Same Lotto Numbers Come Up Sat and Sun
Then, what would be the odds of two given states, Illinois and Iowa, to have the same Midday pick-4 numbers on a given day, in the exactly same order?By the same math as in the article, the odds would be 1 in 100,000,000 (10,000 x 10,000).While looking at the prediction winners page the other day, I found that the odds of 1 in 100M were actually beaten by one of LP platinum members, Bluegrass, on Monday, December 12, 2005. Congrats to Bluegrass!(If anyone wants to see it, please click the follo

The positive cash flow system
Pac,The lottery has the edge....1,000 combos....online..if you bet say 1.00 per all combos..$1,000.00..you would get a win for sure.....let's say all of the bets were straight...well you would get paid $900.00...You still loose $100.00 all becasue of the lottery edge....sure you can tilt the odds in your favor by playing more numbers sets...which also increases the cost of playing.... but the odds are the odds....lmao...

Lotto South almost $20 million
6/49 Lotto South jackpot odds......... 1:13,983,8166/48 Hoosier Lotto jackpot odds...... 1:12,271,512That's a difference of 1,712,304 chances that I don't have to beat in a 6/48 game versus a 6/49 game. I'd say that is indeed a significant difference. For a half million dollars more and the better odds, Hoosier Lotto is clearly the better choice of the two games right now.

LOTTERY’S First-ever millionaire raffle
Yeah actually if they would have made it larger, thus the odds lower to win, I may have not played. I was definitely enticed by the 1 in 125,000 odds. 1 in 500,000 whatever, either way I would be happy with a cool million. ($700,000 after all taxes?) I will stick to powerball for higher jackpots, and low odds. I would rather a few more games with lower prizes ($1 million minimum) and better odds to win it. This provides an alternative to always losing money to the powerball all the time. You get

PowerBall odds for 100 tickets?
Seems to me, it would reduce your odds only infintesimally. The odds are based upon each combination. And each combination has the same 1 in 146 million chance to win. I know the arithmetic makes it look like y ou have dropped your odds to 1 in 4.6 million, but numbers can lie. IOW, a hundred combinations, and each has a 1 in 146 milllion chance.

Why do you play Multi-state lottery?
I don't understand how it reduces your odds of winning. I thought the odds were the same regardless!?!?!?
