Special lottery for Indiana National Guard troops won't advance
there are argumens on both ends of this.FOR:- It benefits troops.- It's a lottery.AGAINST:- It's being run by the Hoosier Lottery. Maybe if they held it like a raffle, it would work better. If they guarenteed a winner, then maybe it would do better.

Gun Raffles
I don't know where you all come from but in my neck of the country (Chicago) a gun raffle is the LAST thing we need.Keep it in cash and let the winner spend the money on what he/she wants or needs most.

Motivation for playing?
Certainly money makes things a bit easier. I dont think anyone can argue against that. But having money and keeping it requires a lot of work and time. I sure wouldn't mind work ...rofl.I agree that a certain part of winning is the lure of the gambler, which seems to be a nasty lil gene in everyone, down to the kids that buy a 50 cent raffle ticket at a soccer game. The Dream is the other part of why we play lotteries.

MI began its change game
About two weeks ago,(before the Michigan game started) I e-mailed the inventor of the change game concept. I offered my 3/99 mini-lotto suggestion for future change games, while politely letting him know that IMHO the current raffle-style format with so few winners per drawing won't last. He told me other play styles can be used as part of a change game; secondary prizes also would be seriously considered. The change game idea will succeed only if all future versions allow for much better odds

Change Game??
The GA Change Game is a quick-pick-only, raffle-style game. Seven nights a week, THREE winning combinations are drawn via computer. An exact match is needed to win (for the record, each ticket is in the form of a1234b ).

Post your scratch ticket results
Things haven't been great my way either. I bought two $10 price is right tickets yeseterday or the day before, both hit $10 with a single match on each to get my money back and I was stoked at that. Pretty sad when your excited to break even. Then today I went and was going to get two more $10 tickets in exchange for the winners from before. I got a $10 lucky you and mistaked the $20 blowout game for the $10 blowout game. So I ended up with the $10 Lucky you and th

I had 5 tickets, and all five were zippers. Most not even close. The very first one I bought was a single digit off of being a $100 winner. Another $100 down the drain. I have to be in 20 + losers on that raffle as well and I was thinking the same thing omiller did. I bought a ticket yesterday at 6:30 PM and it was in the mid 300's. I figure they were short a good 125K tickets which makes the odds that much better, but I still didn't find a single lousy $100 winner on ANY

What if the PA Raffle Prize Structure Was Changed ?
I've been kicking this around and wonder if many raffle players would like a change with a chance to win more larger prizes over $1,000. Instead of four chances to win $1 Million Dollars there would be two ... the $100,000 prize would stay the same with four chances. The total prize amount would still be the same ... $5,089,200. Here's my chart ... 2 - $1 Million Prizes = $2,000,000 4 - $100,000 Prizes = $400,000 12 - $50,000 Prizes = $600,000 150 - $10,000 Prizes =
