An Introduction and a Question!
Good Morning,
I'm probably one of the newest members here signing up only yesterday. My question is in regards to the Florida Fantasy 5 Lottery. I believe that this is the lottery in which Richard Lustig is said to have won numerous times. Is this lottery one of the few remaining State Lotteries with live televised drawings (ping-pong balls) or have they gone the way of computer generated numbers like so many other States have which I believe is the ultimate SCAM and rip-off ?
And by the w

Won some money!! Same day I joined the post!!
tamiller,
You have to understand people here at LP being a little leery. It's happened in the past, more than once, that someone who is out to peddle a winning system or run a scam would start a thread in the exact same way you did.
Yours seems to have been just coincidence with the timing of joingin the site and popping a win, but you have to understand people here who were thinking We've seen this before.

Should I report this error or not?
What happened probably wasn't an error, if you put all that information in an e-mail to your lottery they would probably be glad to get to the bottom of what happened.
Considering the fact had you won a jackpot with a ticket that was generated somewhere else, you could have been accused of stealing it from it rightful owner.
It would be a scam if a clerk went somewhere else and bought a bunch of QPs, noted their combinations and resold them, check their combinations after the drawings and

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
Don't look now but you lost this one about 68 pages ago, dude.
Face it, it's in your DNA, you're a loser.
That's why you're a 47 year old cab driver who can't put 4 thousand dollars together to pay for that latest scam you want to buy where the guy guarantees you half a million every 6 months on Pick4.
You should tattoo it on your forehead - L-O-S-E-R.

Judge rules in legal dispute over $33M Lotto Max jackpot
Thank GOD the truth came out and the rightful owner of the ticket may now move on with his life.
I pray that everyone who filed a fraudulent claim or made an inquiry with the intention of trying to scam this man and the lottery commission out of the winnings have nothing but financial hell for the next seven years. I pray that if their motives were not pure, they have to work harder than a Hebrew slave to make ends meet and have no health insurance coverage for the next seven years.

You're both an easy read, now run along.

Father, son trying to live like regular guys after $88 million lottery win
You know, Gym Rice, that's an interesting comment. If you dress, say, like a lawyer, would people be less likely to try to scam you? I think you are onto something there.
As for dressing up, I agree. I have thought of how I would dress/disguise myself just for fun. But truly, I think that would make a huge splash on network news - not just local/state. Hence, killing the entire reason for it. With my luck, someone would release a pic of me from my college drinking days.

$2M Michigan lottery winner defends use of food stamps
I don't think anyone here would deny you aid with your situation. That's what it's designed for - to help people who really need it.
It's the ones that scam the system because they can or because everybody else is doing it anyway or the rich do it or the government bailed out (fill in the blank) that some of us object to.
It's easy to come up with an excuse to be corrupt.
To our shame, what's becoming increasingly uncommon is doing the right thing .

How do you know if your Lottery System is getting better ?
Yup...
It's false hope for folks who live the rest of their lives knowing they're gonna win the JP. Especially when 99% of the players will never win a JP.
The biggest scam after this is the multiplier BS.

Post your scratch ticket results
Tonight stopped for bubble gum and my evening picks, on the way out, Birthday Cash (029) caught my eye, Hit the machine for one ticket and won 50$ from the bonus area....Then saw the 5x bin, played three of those and hit for $10 on one of them (ticket 172). (5x 2$)
So for six bucks I came out 54$ a head. Gotta save it though as I have a goal to wait til I am at 100$ and then I am buying $10 tickets (qty:10) I am on a mission to at least be assured that PURE GOLD isnt the scam I think it is.
