Powerball Jackpot
Of course not. Hey, I've been in the same job for 20 years. I enjoy my security but I certainly wouldn't mind retiring early and fulfilling my dreams. If I ever settle on what they are. But like I said, people aren't thinking clearly when there is a huge jackpot. Some people lose everything they own plus their families just on banking on winning. I have certainly heard alot of stories about it. And I am sure you probably have too. People have to be realistic. But you know how many people

Attention all Lotto Cheatah users!
The slammer virus was discovered on the internet on 25 Jan 03. This virus infects net-distributed database systems. Lotto Cheatah's distributed database was not infected, but a potential security hole was found that could have caused a serious problem at some future time. All versions of Lotto Cheatah issued before 25 Jan 2003 have had their updates halted at 25 Jan 2003.Lotto Cheatah users are advised to visit the official website http://nostalgiaunlimited.com/cheatah/ and download the latest u

Red's Hot Sheet
Sorry Todd,We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.MS might get some bad press because they are so successful but I will never believe that the R D money and resources that MS pours into breaking into new markets, dominating others by taking a loss producing products and giving them away (Internet Explorer, Outlook etc.) could not be spent to roll out less buggy and less holey software. As I said above, our webhost advised us that the problem is/was with the network not our local server.Who

newbie here
I was teasing you, Percy......................we do that a lot in here. I meant that I know that Harry said something to you at Maybells, that's all. If you go back and read the old posts here we have fun...lots of fun besides picking the numbers. Kinda liven the place up............the scenario was that Vision-Dude if he won was gonna buy me a castle..........and if that happened Harry wanted a job at my castle and I said I would hire him as a security guard..........that is what I meant....

mega million ANNUITY
I think the max federal bracket is something like 39%. I'm pretty sure $1,000,000 per year would fall into that. State income taxes can range from 0% to 11% (at this moment). And there could even be county and city income taxes (if not today, sometime in the next 25 years). You may have your taxes raised big time for a 'Hillary' healthcare plan and Social Security type programs...and not qualify for them because you made too much money! I think those poor Enron and World.com Ex-CEOs can't get un

Minute Lotto Warning
I joined minutelotto.com and what a mistake. Not only does the site abuse you with pop-ups of the worst kind (much worse than freelotto.com, etc.) one of the pop-ups switches your home page from msn to yahoo if you don't visit using the highest security browser setting. At first I suspected every place I visited but minutelotto, then when it happened again, I reset to default msn home page and visited everywhere I'd been checking at each site and it was minutelotto changing my homepage. An email t

nothing
Yep. Of course I played 37 (or something like it) because I couldn't play 73, but that's besides the point. The other 5 numbers I've played several times weekly for the last 2 years and maybe hit 3 of 6 about twice. That's a pittiful showing. But I like the security of playing these numbers with my quickpicks just to show that I was the one buying the tickets. Believe me, just a $5000 win would have my brother and sister's mind working overtime on a story of how it's really all his/hers.

CT Lottery quiet as uncomfortable allegations pile up
For a moment it looked like some meaningful information might be released to the public this week about the latest upheaval at the Connecticut Lottery Corp. (CLC) this time in the form of an order Monday that lottery Vice President Chelsea Turner be placed on an indefinite leave, six days after disclosing in sworn testimony that she contacted the FBI in about 2014 with suspicions of wrongdoing by a superior.
But it hasn't turned out that way.
The CLC's board of directors scheduled a specia

Vermont Lottery boss quits, raising issue of public records on personal accounts
Daniel Rachek, the head of Vermont's lottery, has resigned less than a year after taking the job.
His temporary replacement, Gary Kessler, who was appointed to run the lottery in mid-September, says that Rachek's departure means the department is unable to retrieve public records that may be on his personal accounts or devices.
Rachek started the job on Nov. 13, 2017. A job posting for his replacement went up on Nov. 6 this year.
He found a job that paid better that suited his skill se
