Mega Millions when CA joinsReply
Hmm, what do y'all think about the potential for increased odds? Does the joining of CA deem it necessary to increase the odds? I see the increased odds above, and I'm already thinking of BARELY playing Mega Millions! As it is at 135 million, I'm disgusted.

hypersoniq,I have to agree with plnwebguy. I'd say that the next red Powerball number will be higher than twelve simply because it's odds-on (2 to 5) in favor of it. You're entirely right that any number can come up, but the mathematical odds are the only realistic insight for me. I can't see any real law or logic in simply relying on what has happened in the past.
