Just a FYI. Last week I went to Idaho for a ten advance Hot Lotto, two of the clerks didnt know how to do an advance ticet and the woman didnt want to make a mistake so she called the supervisor. He made a mistake and printed out a ten draw ticket for the same day. The woman said that was why she didnt want to try to do it. She showed me a Raffle ticket someone made and it was up by the lottery machine for sale. The supervisor figured it out, got me my correct ticket. She asked him what happens

The number you mentioned (00403256) has another 12 numbers after it. The list I posted has the full 5,892 $100 winners.

Way off subject here. A man claimed one of the two unclaimed million dollar raffle tickets in Virginia today. He bought it in Lynchburg, VA around Thanksgiving. Put it in a drawer and forgot all about it. Looking for his checkbook and there it was and the rest they say, is lottery history. Sent a picture/video of my holding my iPad mini to the KY lottery. They asked if they could post it on their FB website=YES.

I feel the same way. I haven't played much at all the past year aside from participating in the millionaire raffle game which ended up netting a goose egg. Just makes me want to work harder to advance my financial well being instead of blindly throwing money away for a one in a gazillion shot at striking it rich.

There is no reasonable way to do a lottery ball drawing every five minutes. Quick-Draw Keno games are one of the exceptions in which a computerized drawing makes sense. Another is raffle games, many of which have thousands of winning numbers. Understood about the risks of a computerized drawing, but the only other possibility is not having the game at all.

I use to like that in Calif, at the end of the game, they would have a raffle for one top prize. That was back before they had the smart phone app that allowed people to scan their second chance entries in so the odds werent horrible. But, alas, they did away with it. They also did away with the number of top prizes. They justified all this by saying they were going to offer more smaller prizes and that is what people wanted. I dont believe it and that is why I stopped buying scratchers.

Some states offer promotions and sign-up bonuses, but it's not often. There's also almost never any kind of package where you buy 5 lines and get one free or 5 tickets for 5 or what have you. There are often special draws though where your ticket doubles as a raffle ticket, like on St. Nicolaus Day (Dec 6) and around special events. They are really stingy here.
