Free virus scan made me think about a scam that is currently being perpetrated on us- freecreditreport.com It isn't free. They make you sign up to their little credit protection deal and debit your credit card accordingly. They got sued for it too, but keep on running the ad ( with the itty bitty disclaimer at the bottom). Buyer beware!

There are a lot of scam artists in Australia, the ONLY time I've ever been scammed was by a company in Australia, about a year ago. I bought a copy of Sniping Software - it worked GREAT for two years, then it died. I bought the upgrade, and, NOTHING. I don't feel too bad because I was able to buy some things with it that a normal person could not possibly get, but that one bad transaction convinced me never to buy downloadable software from a company outside the USA.

Anyone get a call recently saying they've won a brand new Cadillac Escalade? I hope it was a scam, because otherwise I lost a brand new SUV! This place called the Awards Center Never was offered a prize of an Escalade - but I believe you did not lose a brand new SUV! Did you enter anything where that was the prize? Of course you can be bold and call the 800 and see just how slick the person on the other end is!

I think there should be always on firs page in lottery discussion section a thread called scam online lottery providers. Everyone who was victimized by any online lottery service would write his/her story and warn others about certain websites. What do you think? Good idea? If so, vote YES or NO.
