Seriously, the search needs to come to an end. Perhaps Adam will buy one or two Super Millions tickets and find the jackpot on his 2nd ticket to end the search. =p I'm not sure what your results have been like, but I've noticed typically maybe half at best Super Million rolls being in relevant ranges. I consider anything under 700k very unlikely. When I say relevant ranges, I assume 700k-737k(end of print). Logically, it would make sense for it to be somewhere in the very end of the print as

I bought a raffle ticket in the 89k range earlier today. I'd estimate 2 days tops before it reaches first 100k sales. It wouldn't surprise me if it hit 100k tomorrow. I'm curious as to if, and how sales will be impacted after the first 100k incentive instant win incentive is gone.

Yes, I think the $20 price deters a lot of people. Plus, the only variable you can control with the Raffle is when and where you buy your ticket. Last year, I think I got a ticket for each weekly drawing, didn't win anything. I was thinking of doing the same this year. Now, however, I think I will buy my tickets late in the sales cycle. In a city that begins with the letter P.

A guy I know who lives in Florida bought 10 of those tickets last year and didn't have a single winner. He claims he won't fall for the bait again this year especially since the prizes are much less. $20 per ticket is too rich for my blood so I won't bother having anybody get me a raffle ticket.

CA has many things that are deterrents. The pari-mutuel policy is a joke. I also don't like that 2nd tier prize for SLP averages $35-40K, is often split and doesn't carry over like it does on the other JP games. If they had a better 2nd chance system, they wouldn't have to bother with cheesy promos, like the current SLP raffle.
