Post your scratch ticket results
Sorry to hear man. Sounds like the lotto tickets in Pennsylvania are just as bad as Florida's.
I am considering moving to Philly to go to Grad school at UPenn, and was also looking forward to trying some new scratch offs. What was the prize distribution for these raffle tickets? Were there a bunch of $500 prizes, or was it scattered in a prize range with several million dollar winners?

Another example. Today I played around $120(was owed to me from a fantasy football league). I ended up winning $200.. Was sitting here and decided to cash it for another raffle ticket and to end a $30 roll(that I knew had 4 left) and some odd balls. I hit $4.. Yep. $4.. Some days are good, some days are bad. Some stores are hot and some stores are duds.. Play with fun money and expect to lose it. If you win great, if you lose it, then it was fun money and no harm cause you did what you wanted wi

PA Millionaire Raffle- St. Patrick's Day Edition
Good luck to everyone
Ive got 1 ticket for Oregons St Patricks Day Raffle. Maybe 3rd times a charm? I always seem to get curious when its already sold out, and rarely participate. So this time I tried to get one pretty quick after sales started.

So I take it raffles are struggling all over?

PA Millionaire Raffle- St. Patrick's Day Edition
Coworker bought a ticket this AM, 243000 range, so selling at 13000 per day with 2.5 days remaining. 310000 looks reasonable for sales. 1 in 78000 odds of hitting it big. 35000 tickets behind the Halloween drawing and growing. If the lottery changes their mind and switches back to the raffle twice a year, I could see why with the slow sales. The lottery is at their break even point later today with the number of tickets sold vs payout, which should be a million dollars in profit. I plan on enter

Florida lottery winner back in court for retrial
he did not split the proceeds from a raffle ticket he bought that won him a new Mustang.
Oopsie. Obviously you can't give somebody half of a car, but you can chip in for their car payments, pay a bigger share of household expenses, or pay for a vacation. It would be interesting to know what he said about not sharing with her.

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Nope, much like a barrel or hat raffle one number wins one prize that is it. The biggest prizes are all drawn first.
5. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are $100, $1,000, $100,000 and $1,000,000. A player may only win one time on each ticket or chance.

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
well that's odd.
we ran through a billion raffle samples and the lowest odds based on sample simulation we came up with in the top 4 prizes was around 1 : 484026.

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Before we get into the logic of why we say the odds are as stated, we need to understand the truest sense of what a raffle is.
Raffles are similar to Lotteries in the fact they are a game of probability.
However, that's where the similarity ends.
Raffles differ from Lotteries because they guarantee a prize will be won by someone at the time of selection, Lotteries do not.
Typical manual raffles use a ticketing system where one buys a dual ticket stamped with identical numbers; seen b
