More on the Hoosier Lottery...
I recently wrote the Hoosier Lottery with the following comments: I noticed something when I checked my PowerBall tickets today. At the top of each ticket is printed the following message: Remember draw time is now 9:59 PM EST! Sales cut off is one hour before the drawing. As far back as I can remember, sales cutoff has always been one half-hour prior to the drawing. When did this change take place, and when did you announce it? IC 4-30-3-5, Sec. 5 states,

Forming a trust to claim prize
Quote: Originally posted by rundown99 on March 17, 2005 I know that in states like Ohio and New Hampshire, you can form a trust to claim a prize, because it was actually done in those states. But can you do it anywhere? So if the jackpot was won in Nebraska or South Dakota or Pennsylvania, could you still form a trust and remain anonymous? The WLT Trust was formed in Pennsylvania a while back to claim a large Powerball jackpot but the names were still shown on the Powerball news article. The Du

Men who threw away $100,000 scratch ticket now seek prize
Two guys buy a ticket. They figure they won $40 on $100,000 winning ticket.I have a couple questions...1) What was the combined IQ of these two minds and why are they playing a lottery game that they do not understand how it is won? Two people, mind you, not one, eliminating the chance of one person making a mistake and yet they claim they both did.2) Why did the garbage picker decide to check that particular ticket for a win? All of us lottery players know how many losing tickets are in

A state audit has concluded that the Oregon Lottery should tighten user access to computer data and improve security at employee workstations. The points were raised in an annual financial audit that the state Audits Division released Wednesday. For those who want to win big!!
Lottaloot:On the topic of free advertising, I know we've covered this before, but I think it bears repeating. I know your intentions are not to advertise, and you are a great member here, so there are no hard feelings. The term advertising on the Internet basically means link . On a different media, like TV, an advertisement is a mention , and they are very valuable. On the Internet, a link serves the same purpose, and they are valuable. The few advertisers I have here pay money to have the

One Florida Lotto ticket wins $60 million
But many other customers had him look at their tickets. People like this tick me off! If you think you bought your ticket at the store that sold the winning ticket and think you may have a good chance of being the winner, couldn't you at least put in a little effort and check the damn numbers yourself. Isn't that minute of your time worth a shot at $60 million. One of these times some clerk is not going to be so honest and might try to scam someone out of a big jackpot win because someone was t
