I don't think it's even completely true about the odds. Wait for lucky day lotto to roll to 1mil, that's happened twice this year and once last year. Buy 20 tickets and you've got better odds than one $20 raffle ticket.

Driving over to PA one day this week. Gonna get some PA Millionaire Raffle tickets. 12 days left to sell tickets and right now just under 200,000 have been sold out of a possible 500,000. It might be that they wont sell out and that approximately 300,000 to 350,000 will sell. If that happens, that'd take the odds down to 1 in 75,000 to 87,500 from 1 in 125,000. G5

here its illegal to run a raffle or lottery if you dont already have the prizes. makes me think of the urban myth about the guy who raffled off his pay packet every payday at the factory he worked at.

MyTurn, thanks for posting about Mega Doubler, I saw a previous post of yours and have a season ticket for that. Weshar, do you know when the Thanksgiving one starts? How long does Oregon sell tickets? Idaho sells for about 3 months for the winter raffle that draws on NYE.

Coworker said he wouldn't buy any tickets until the last month of sales, hoping to get a number later in the sequence.
