Would you stop playing the lottery if you were restricted to Quick Picks?
Well Midget Toss, I've seen some members say they hate RNGs picking winning numbers but they don't mind RNGs picking their QP tickets.
Nice try to parallel the QP/ Raffle ticket comparison--What's the difference, you have no control of either one.

PA Raffle Tickets on Sale - Drawing July 11, 2015
Yes, maringoman has summed it all up ... but in quick summary ... it's all about the odds.
Is there any lottery game anywhere that you can spend $20 with four chances to win $ 1 million or $100,000 at the odds of 1: 125,000?
I don't know, there might be a better state raffle or lottery game somewhere. I have checked some state raffles but not all.
Some state raffles only have one shot a million dollars but for the same ticket cost ... a person gets four shots at a million dollar prize o

Illinois lottery director calls it quits
Are you confusing his accurate use of the term odds with ratio?
Because, Coin Toss, if you mean ratio, then I think we all agree with you; that's why we regularly play Powerball and Mega Millions lottery games. Do you understand that we only buy one $20 ticket to the bi-annual raffle?

How big is your pool?
GiveFive, I see you live in New York state but you must live close enough to CT and PA to buy raffle tickets in those states. Do you also buy your Mega Millions and Powerball tickets in PA to take advantage of no sales tax in PA?
Thanks.

Powerball is kicking it up-10 millionaires were made tonight!!.
As for me, I want to see more state raffles. And I'd like to see them offered on a more frequent basis too.
A year or so ago MUSL offered a multi-state raffle around the Halloween timefrme. I read on MUSL's website that there would be more raffles held the following April. That died a very quiet death. Anyone know what happened?

$1 million lottery prize goes unclaimed
Agreed. We keep throwing money at education and getting the same results. So throwing even more money at it makes what kind of sense?
As far as any unclaimed lottery money goes, it should all be put into a year end raffle and hold a special drawing tax free to the winner(s).

Spaniards celebrate 'El Gordo' victories in world's biggest lottery
I'm curious about the payout ratio for every Dollar/Euro spent. Does anybody know? Otherwise I think the game is wonderful. Lots of winners just before Christmas (are we allowed to say Christmas anymore? Hahaha idgaf). It would be nice if MUSL Would offer such a raffle. No growing jackpot b.s. or weekly draws. Just one draw around Christmas and boom! Plenty of winners nationwide.

Do you play a lottery other than your state lottery?
I just happen to be driving over to Connecticut today (an hour's drive) and while I'm there, I'm gonna get two SuperDraw raffle tickets!
Drawing is 1/1/15, top prize of 1 million to one winner, max of 275,000 tickets to be sold, ten bucks per ticket. Lots of lower tier prizes too. G5

States pull the plug on Monopoly Millionaires' Club
why only have $1 million winners when someone DOES win?
Because the plan was to turn a profit for the states selling the tickets. Then some genius decided to complicate things by advertising the complete BS about possibly creating 100 millionaires at a time.
They have to have some way to control the number of $1 million winners. There are 3 ways to do that, but only one way that also allows for the possibility of a lot of $1 million prizes. They could do it with odds specifically for tha
