Hey Crazy Wombat, I pretty much did the same thing as you a few years back with that raffle. Pick up a few here and there. Next thing I knew I had 25 tickets as well with nothing to show, LMAO. Right now for new years one I have 2 and might pick up 2-3 more but as someone pointed out to me earlier is that the Quinto game has better odds at a Mil then the raffle. Granted, it doesn't make a lot of sense to bother drive further when it wont change your chances. The only way I'd drive farther (and I've done this) is to drive out of state to buy raffle tickets that my state doesn't offer. I've driven about an hour to a neighboring state to buy them. On more than one occasion I've had to go to those states anyway, so while I was there I killed two birds with one stone. G5

I got one so far. Will get a few more here and there. As i understand that new MMC game I am attracted to that raffle portion of it. When/if it gets up in the 50-60 Millionaire prizes I may just throw $100 on it. A few years back here in Jersey they ran a cash 5 promotion. Anyone who played tonight had about a 1 in 59,000 chance of getting one of the $1 million prizes (given that the jackpot was hit). Granted it's known when the Raffles are won, but most cost $20 to get a 1 chance in 125,000 of winning $1 million. If any of the 14 winners spent $5 each drawing, they bet $15 to get much better odds than the could buying a $20 raffle ticket.

Good luck. VA is the only state I profited in. Only played 2 tickets 15 years ago on my way to Myrtle Beach and one hit $50.. In my batch last night, I did get a $5 X20 ticket. So sorry HoLeeKau, I know what a disappointment it is. Two years ago I bought a house raffle ticket from a college....low odds and I didnt win anything either. $100 is just too much to spend even with the good odds and the money goes to the college.
