What are the lines like where you're at?
I haven't seen any lines either here in Texas.
Maybe a lot of players read the Lottery Post news article titled Lottery rigging mastermind sentenced to 25 years in prison where Eddie Tipton, former security director of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), admitted to rigging computer programming code to produce winning numbers netting Tipton and his accomplices millions of dollars. Tipton was formerly a programmer with the Multi-State Lottery Association, the agency that administers st

Wed. Powerball lottery jackpot jumps to $700 million
Cuban's advice is spot on. His message is for the regular Joe and Jane who wouldn't recognize a T-bone about investing and managing their money. If you are a smart investor doing it for years successfully, then the lump sum is for you. If you are like most lottery winners who haven't ever seen $5ooK together (you get the point) in their lives, then you should choose the annuity, whether you are 18 or 99 years old. Reality is nobody needs more than the first annuity payment to live and do their t

Anyone else hate that some states won't let winners remain anonymous?
I would hate not winning more than I would hate someone knowing it was me that won.
That's like worrying about the taxes on a jackpot. Tax me on a jackpot and see if I care.
Form a trust or something that your state allows to protect your identity and enjoy the win if you get lucky. You can always move to a gated community with security if you need to.

Serious Question? lottery pre-draw tests
At least in the P3 P4 if the same number comes up too many times in the same position, they will pull the ball set. Say if a number comes up 3 times in 5 pre draws, they may do a couple more. If it comes up again, the ball set is out. The ASSUMPTION is somebody tampered with them. But with all the security measures how would it be possible? I suppose they don't want to consider that it might just be a random occurrence. But when it happens in the official drawing, that's what they would claim.

Serious Question? lottery pre-draw tests
With all the security on the balls and machines it's practically impossible to rig anything. Anytime they want to pull the ball set out because something in the pre-test doesn't fit their statistical parameters, what they are really saying is we don't think that was random. What they don't want to accept is that, random does not always fit statistical parameters.
Kind of funny that they always tell us, everything in the lottery is completely random. But when something that is supposed to be

Bahamas 'web shop' accused of failing to pay winners
Turns out I should have done my research before I posted, as most of my questions were already answered. However, I did find this little tidbit under Game Rules on the IA website:
The drawing will be held in accordance with the schedule posted to the Lottery's website (www.ialottery.com). The drawings will be held at the Multi-State Lottery (MUSL) location in Urbandale, Iowa under the supervision of a Drawing officer, an independent auditor and lottery security. All drawings are video reco

Woman sues casino that offered her steak dinner instead of $43 million jackpot
Just re-read the original article. How stupid/entitled does she think she is? I mean come on, come back the NEXT DAY to see how much she won? You never, ever leave a slot machine you think won on. All the jackpots I won they come quickly, get your driver's license and fill out initial paperwork for you to hold onto until they come with security and pay you right then and there. You also have to present the piece of paper they gave you.
At several casinos around the country I've asked if
