I was thinking maybe a Raffle style game or 50/50.

Post your scratch ticket results
I got kind of lucky after work when I stopped to cash those tickets I had won on. I like to go to the Safeway and take all the losing tickets out of the trash can so I can enter them online for points for prizes and raffle entries. One of the Big Cash Multiplier tickets (#55) had a number match of 29 for a prize of $10 and the bottom of the ticket had a 5X multiplier ($50 total prize)! I thought that was cool that was the biggest winning ticket I have ever found discarded. I wished good luck to

Louisiana Lottery Lagniappe Raffle
Thanks for that little bit of trivia.
Since the Lotto jackpot is $1.2million, I bought 5 tickets tonight and got another free raffle ticket. My first ticket I bought on Saturday when it started was numbered in the 6000s, they are now in the 41000s so the promotion must be doing well. At this rate they will probably have quarter million tickets out there, which I guess isn't too bad odds for $50,000.

Georgia's new $30 lottery tickets selling 'like crazy'
exactly what I was thinking..who in the heck did they poll?
I wouldn't even pay $30 for a raffle lottery ticket and they generally have better odds.

Great times for the UK lottery!
Looks like a good one, maringoman.
I just checked back on Virginia and they're all sold out of raffle tickets now.

I might be skipping the next purchases until Super Lotto Plus jackpot gets hit.
Right now SuperLotto Plus is at $35MM ($19.5 MM cash option) and the 2nd Chance Drawing for SLP has launched. I think it might be better than the raffle that they had earlier in the year, but they used Powerball as an excuse to terminate it. There are usually 3 million ticket purchases per draw, so I am curious to see how many out of the 6 million get entered each week (some people might save up for a different we

Do you ever get excited for a second when checking your tickets?
Yup, those numbers never seem to match up.
Hopefully they do a big draw for Christmas such as 80M Jackpot and 100 Raffle winners!

Let's just say the 75 number MM never gets hit...
I think at some point, it should trigger a new game, with fewer numbers so many more can have a chance to split the prize. I don't think its good to give some one a Billion Dollars, assuming its a single ticket from a single owner.
Something like the Spanish raffle, Gorditas (?), where people can buy shares from a single number. I don't know exactly how it works but I think the goal is to spread the wealth.

New York Halloween Millions raffle ...
You will probably need all 9 numbers. Don't see a third prize. Looks like 1 mill, 50k, and the bonus #s are the prizes.
