NY credit union chief accused of embezzling money from fund, spending $3.55M on lottery tickets
Lock the BASTRD up and throw away the key! If you cannot explain where you obtained large amounts of fundage from while you are CEO of ANY banking org, then you should not be running said banking institution. I can tell ya one thing, the banks CAN, WILL and DO track everything done.
In his case, he just got caught and should pay the price......PERIOD! Sick and tired of crooked CEO's in ANY industry that exploit their prestigious position of power.
MAYBE, he was just borrowing the fun

Store clerk busted trying to scam undercover lottery investigator
We would all have known how much we won since we would have watched the drawing or checked our local state's website or even used the lottery ticket scanner on the counter in the store.
But, there are people that play the lottery on a whim and aren't hardcore players like us. They don't know the pay-outs for hitting and trust the lottery person to let them know.
This story is not about players like us, but rather a woman that tried to scam someone whom she thought was an unseasoned lottery

Pump and dump , Ponzi Scheme etc... The fraudsters have been at it for years. Ever see a picture of Ponzi? He was an Italian immigrant to The U.S. years ago when Ellis Island was going strong.
I love watching CNBC's American Greed. But not because I feel sorry for the victims. Well, on second thought, yeah I kind of do feel sorry for them, but what I cant get over is how easily they're all scammed.
Maybe it's easier than I think it is to get caught in a scam. Maybe I can be conned just a

nj five card cash- all in
In my opinion, as well as many others, computer generated games are the biggest scam out there. I offer this as an example.
New Jersey has a game called five card cash with a top prize of 100,000. The odds of winning are listed as 2,598,860 to one.
NJ also has cash for life. This game is NOT computer generated and offers a top prize of 1,000 a day for life with the odds posted as 21,846,048 to one.
Five card cash debuted in May 2016 and has yet to have a top prize winner. Cash for life

Anyone else hate that some states won't let winners remain anonymous?
How would that be any harder than a lottery official hiring a person to claim a prize? Just because you see a person give an interview doesn't make the process of transparency any more legitimate. It all comes down to the auditors and the IT personnel. Those are the ONLY people that stop the lotteries from being a free-for-all scam. If you rely on a name and photo to give lottery winners legitimacy then you're incredibly naive. I know that I'm privy to a lot of things the general public isn't wh

Dreamt of two hoodlums running a scam.
They said that if I paid them they could do an autopsy on my parents to find the cause of death. I agreed. They gave me the report. My half sister (Michele)called and said. Both your parents were cremated so how could they have done an autopsy!

Lottery jackpot rigger's Iowa convictions dismissed
Has little practical impact on case
The Iowa Supreme Court has dismissed the conviction of an Iowa man who just last week pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related with rigging lottery computers in order to win jackpots.
The court issued a ruling Friday dismissing Eddie Tipton's conviction for tampering with lottery equipment. The ruling said the statute of limitations on one of the counts against him had expired and improper instructions given on the other count could have influe

Bushels of Mail...
It's N/P. I wasn't clear in my post, just trying to say we have options on other things. I seem to recall reading that SS was grandfathered in, that people getting paper checks could continue to do so, that it was just a requirement for new SS recipients, but I don't know if that's since been changed.
I was discussing this with a fellow L.P.'er and I told him I don't think I would open up any of those letters; I'm sure none of them would be sending ME cash and I'm cynical enough to think t

Gee Stack- what was that all about?
First off: Greatmaltz highlighted the response of Millionswanted, who it states lives in Norway. You were focused on Maltz's residence State, l was not.It would seem that the point went over your head. More importantly, l am not a bigot, someone saying so,does not make it true.
Second off:This situation is no different than someone being contacted through email by a Nigerian lottery Scam- does that make all Nigerians crooks? Short answer: No! It just so
