ALERT ALERT ALERT ...Tell Us about it.
Thank you Blackapple! OK.....here's another on the Ga. Eve draw. Not quite as good as midday but....... Its a zig zag pattern....starting with 710 six draws ago...and endiing with the all odd 915 last night. Thats 6 in a row odd digits .....all pointing to that middle position tonight. In order for it to continue and hit another odd in the middle position it would have to overcome chance of .......1 in 128. Again,,,not as good as the midday...but the odds are still with you. WITH YOU!

Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall
>They kept pushing the Mass Megabucks (Pick6/30) numbers up from 30, then to 36 and then finally, to 42.I wish Megabucks would go back to 36 numbers. Then it would be fun again. I don't think it matters anymore if jackpots slowly climb to $10 million or more, people who want huge jackpots will skip Megabucks and play Megamillions. The increasing size of the jackpot is no longer the big sales draw it once was. But if there were better odds and regular winners of between $400,000 and $1 milli

It's all luck...
Yes, it's called the Birthday Paradox (where odds are 50/50 two people in a room of people share a birth day and month) and figures can be computed for how often there is a 50/50 chance of a number repeating after a range of draws. For example, in Pick-3 if you take a spread of 16 past draws and look at the next draw there is a better then 50/50 chance you will see the number in box form. This is taking a cluster at random, you can't just slide up the history a draw at a time checking for this

Lottaloot's 78 pair call for MI today
It's all about luck in the LotteryI would just rather go with a more statitistical (can't spell this morning) approach in picking my numbers.Today the data leads me to believe that either 60 or 24 is the best pair play for my state.Won't go into detail at how I derived at that today. And I want to make clear that this is not my system because my life is too busy to keep track of stats and I'm not of genius material to develop a program that will do it for me. But I do like picking my numbers

$214 million Powerball lottery ticket sold in Delaware
Quote: Originally posted by Babel on October 12, 2004Bleh. Why bother getting in a large group like that. If your going to tempt the long odds like that make sure you are set for life should you get lucky. It's a lot of fun, that's why. Everyone has the opportunity to pump each other up between draws. It makes the work day seem shorter. There is such a thing as herd mentalilty.Besides that, I believe that $2.2 million each after taxes is enough toset someone up for life.

Lottaloot's 78 pair call for MI today
If you read my post in October's Picks and followed up by playing the 78 pair as a whole, then congrats is dueIt seemed like magic to me in the past; but now I know that if you study the data logically that it is really just all about stats You have to keep track of everything that the lottery throws at you in order to win because it is there hope and dream that you play birthdays, license plate #, etc...etc...etc...It is true that you can win by playing that way but you can improve your skil

Quote: Originally posted by unseen on October 10, 2004My girlfriends work put in $20 each on this past powerball. 45 people each putting in $20 for a total of 900 tickets. The most they got was 2 number and a powerball. Ive had alot of success with pick 3 thoughAre you sure who ever bought the tickets didn't accept a gratuity of a few hundred dollar? I bought 100 tickets and got two 0+1 and one 3+0 for $13 and I consider that bad. The overall odds of winning something with the PowerBall game

Players cross the border for Powerball
Quote: Originally posted by Thomas Covenant on October 08, 200A more realilistic way to look at it is there are 1800 number combinations that will win for you, and 120,524,970 combinations that will lose. 1800 tickets really doesn't make a dent in the total number combinations. If you will notice, that 1800 bucks was for Wednesdays drawing, which no one won. I have been waiting for the voice of realism here remember just because you purchase more tickets does not increase your odds just your cha

Powerball Drawing for Wednesday 10-6-04
Hi Chief, I have point and figure charts which are basically doing the same as you but what I am thinking is that so often the numbers start with let us say 19. Does it now suggest a plan might be to eliminate those numbers that are lower than 15. It seems to me it happens often enough to play the numbers that way. Of course, low numbers get drawn but often enough the numbers start in the high range. You would still use your spread sheets to determine the odds on the remaining numbers and st
