$151 million: Powerball jackpot highest in four months
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on October 02, 2004Yes, the top rate is now 35%. Every little bit helps. My personal feeling is it should be a lot lower.OK glaringly apparent that I must have stumbled on old tax information sorry folks. However trying to point out a few things and one is that the jackpot analysis is flawed. Yes they are going to withhold 25% but they are far from done with the tax bite. I may/or will never win but should I beat the unbeatable odds you can be assured that one I

Just interested, why do you think it is a dud ?Because the split field makes winning a jackpot physically impossible in almost every draw. If you want to get really technical the odds of winning when you finally do get all the numbers

Disturbing trend
i plan on playing it at least once, but i think PA is nuts to do that. the odds aren't great. the top prize is one in which you will still need to work even after winning it. i could see it lasting one drawing, and then once PA sees the fact that sales are poor, it will be retired. as much as i don't want to say it, i think PA needs super 6, wild card lotto, or super 7 back. WHAT THE HELL WAS PA THINKING WHEN THEY DECIDED THAT THIS GAME WOULD WIN PLAYERS OVER?

There is a link to on Lotto-Logix on the Information page.http://www.lotto-logix.com/information.htmlI like Pick-3 because it is totally fair, can't say for sure about games run in computer whether blackjack or lottery. If you want to play such games the best time is when they give you free money to play with. It doesn't lower the odds, but it does give you more chances to win before running out of funds. I do suspect they let you win the free games. If you want to play free for real you have

I need to fix bad luck or bad Karma
I live and play in IL. On Sunday I played my pick three number 224 for five dollars straight and 225 came in. Just missed $2,500. Today I played my pick four number 3728 and 1728 came in. Just missed $10,000. Also I've had about six other near misses and I only play a small number of combinations so what gives? I've had about $25,000 grand worth of near misses this year. I know the lottery is set up to be you and the odds are you will lose more than you will win. But everything seems just a litt

Are Powerball predictions random?
Quote: Originally posted by Gatorone on September 17, 2004 Another question is: How many lines are enough to win? 1? 5? 10? 20? The man who won over $200 Million played $400.00 worth. I would not put that much money into playing any lottery. Jack Whittaker of West Virgina both $100 of QP's for his PowerBall win of over $200M and another guy in Michigan used the change he got when he paid $100 for a hot dog to buy the BigGame QP's that won him a third of the biggest jackpot ever.
