Missouri Goes To Computer Generated Draws
There is one good thing about RNG. You will never have to worry about using a system to pick your numbers each day. You might as well not bother. Might as well use birthdays or any number that enters your brain housing group. There is no logic to RNG, and it certainly doesnt have anything to do with odds. I started playing the lottery 6 years ago and have never won a straight combo. If I had to do it again I would have invested my money in order to avoid bankruptcy. I am not a gambling addict b

Mega Billions!
Quote: Originally posted by MetroPlex on July 19, 2004What if there was a multi-state lotto...let's say 25+ states and the prize is $1 Billion Dollars!(each time and doesn't grow) Tickets would cost like $5 instead of $1 and the balls would be 7/1-99. Would you play?Like;7 out of 7= $$$Jackpot$$$6 out Of 7= $1 million5 out of 7= $100,0004 out of 7= $1,0003 out of 7= $5MP HELL NO !!! With those kinds of odds, you would be more likely to win the Pepsi billion dollar game. And $5 for a t

Texas 7/19 Evening
Quote: Originally posted by cadl on July 19, 2004cd--thanks for the post; it is good to see someone spending the time and effort to help those in another state. there have been 4 consecutive odd sums in the night game as well as 4 consecutive odd sums in day and night combined. you often recognize this in your other posts and often recommend switching to even. tonites picks are all odd sums--does this represent a change in your methodology or is that just the way the numbers came out? thanks ag

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Quote: Originally posted by dragon on July 20, 2004There is a problem I see with predictions on pari-mutuel systems, like the big pick-6 lotteries. Some of us have been challenged about posting our predictions, but it really makes no sense to publish your numbers of you are playing actively. What are the odds that you might actually post some winning numbers? A couple of week ago I posted my MegaMillions picks and when Todd congratulated me on a match three another poster wanted to be congrat

Mega Millions vs. Powerball?
Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on July 18, 2004well. you state a good point there, but i would have to argue for mega millions because it has fewer states and a smaller population, yet the starting jackpot remains the same. granted the odds aren't as good as winning the powerball jackpot, but since i don't buy my tickets in texas, i don't have to be bothered with the multiplier. WHY SPEND $2 AND LOSE WHEN I CAN SPEND $1 AND LOSE TOO?No, Mega Millions has fewer states, but a LARGER po

Gail Howard software
Quote: Originally posted by apagogeas on July 18, 2004this is the correct example. But I have to correct some comments you make. You say ...for a very easy to see example of typical win rates. . I wonder what is NOT considered typical rate then. I show you that I produce 5/6 hit in 5 draws out of 30 which performs 3.1 times better than luck. I also show you that the 0/6, 1/6, 2/6 hits have been reduced below luck rates (which is welcome of course). Is it still a typical rate??? For god's shake

Mega Millions sets a new record
Quote: Originally posted by Jake649 on July 17, 2004The Mega Millions lottery set a new 4-roll record for the July 20 draw with its $37 million jackpot. The previous 4-roll record was $36 million. The Powerball 4-roll record is $42 million.I estimate that the Mega Millions lottery will set a new record with each new roll until it is won.Good luck,JakeDuring the earlier phases of the last run-up to the $290 million jackpot, both Texas and New York, two of MM's biggest states had large jackpots in

State lotteries watching
This is America---we have rights----thats what made this country free! What people forget is that Money may control some things, but not everything. Money didnt make this country free----the people did! Keep up the good work Todd! The lotteries knows that the PEOPLE rule in this country! It does amaze me how ridiculous ppl get over money. Hey, every American deserves a fair chance to win the lottery. Lotteries should be available to the poor just like the rich. The odds stated should be correct-

Bad News MO Players...
That is awful! I have lost my shorts here in Indiana with the computerized games. Fortunantly, I dont spend 20-30 a day anymore. The main reason is that after playing for 6 years I am now broke. I havent even won a stright combo in 6 years playing 20 or more a day. Just think how the little old lady on a limited income is doing thinking she has a chance on the 1 ticket she buys. I am sorry to hear about them going to RNG. As for me, I like Ohio, but driving there is 2 hours. At least you have a

Bryan,Thanks for posting. I couldn't find any info on ODDS (Online Daily Draw System) software, so I'm guessing it's home-grown software. They go to great lengths to describe the drawing process, but I'm still wondering what they mean by people will watch the drawing from an external video feed. What, they're going to watch a tape of someone hitting a button on the keyboard??I'm sure NASA would have a much more impressive list of technology they could spew, but accidents and bugs still happen t
