Lotto Texas Hits Record $120 Million
Wednesday jackpot a record; Mega Millions at $100 millionPeople with lotto fever will have a few more days to try their luck at Lotto Texas: there were no winners in Saturday night's record $100 million drawing. In the final hour before the drawing, Texans and those who hoped to get lucky in the Lone Star State snatched up 28,060 tickets a minute, apparently undeterred by the one-in-47.7 million odds of winning.Total sales leading up to the drawing topped $21 million, the Texas Lottery Commission

Steiner System For Pick-5 Lottos
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on June 09, 2004 ...You must either pick winning numbers in a reduced field or play ALL the numbers in a way they come into contact with each other (unlike the split wheel formula) then you need a massive dose of luck the winning numbers come together in one combination. Wheels can only take you so far all things considered within a responsible budget. BobP... Thank you very much for opening my eyes a little wider, friends! I agree, the numbers still tend to spr

Very Cheap Software. Should I be wary?
The thing with Paypal (I hope) is you don't have to send your credit card number to a potential crook. The problem isn't simply not getting your merchandise, it's what a crook can do with all the info you must provide to pay by credit card to someone who doesn't have a business to risk by being a crook. If you're that worried about not getting the merchandise, ebay offers cheap insurance.I wouldn't buy anything whose promotion takes the form of spam simply because no legitimate business would

If random is not random and logical is >
not logical what is? 100 draws = 100% so each draw is 1% compair 100 draws vs 100 draws untill simailarities appear their shoud be some quit obvious ones. After a while a thease occurances can be used to dirive some logical explanation for any one of several answers. Why after a number of draws do sums stay with in limits of above minium maxium totals! Why in sequenical order do number go from to 3/4 or 4/5 then jump off? In 5 digit we can have 6 or more reapeating sets but none in 6 digit

never fell GA mid numbers
Good... those guys are heating up again. Interesting that the 2nd. column and the 9 column are the only ones not hit. We just haven't had a lot of straights starting with 9 in the last 6 months. Well everybody ...put an odd digit in that 3rd. spot on Wed. That cuts our choices down by 5oo numbers huh? Thinkin that first position as a high digit right now. That cuts it down another 250. Beware of all odds .....they have some catching up to do. Might have to play all 10 ... Of course now it'

Ohio Buckeye5..06/05/2004
I shall cash in my two tickets tomorrow and use the $12 to play MegaMillions. When looking at MegaMillions 215 past drawings, I noticed that 80% of the numbers have hit 17 or more times and covered 85% of the 4 and 5 winning combinations and 68 of the last 100 drawings haven't included a number from the previous drawing. If I adjust the numbers pool accordingly, I would reduce it from 52 to 37 numbers making playing MegaMillions more like playing Buckeye5 and increase my odds of a match 5 by 5

cold numbers and probability PICK 3/4
Excellent post, and very informative. No fun for the protagonist however. You backed up your statements with empirical data and that isn't fair. That will cause them to slow down and force them to think. Of course, that has never stopped them before. They have been able to avoid thinking about probability up till now. They just can't seem to make it past the Vail from odds to Probability. That's the Gambler's Fallacy you know. Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh no!
