Yeah, it's not exactly pocket change here either. I was a little miffed because I was led to believe I could spend it however I wanted. And did I mention that I hate scrtchers? I'm starting to get over it today tho. lol I'm off right now to cash in a few to buy my Idaho raffle ticket, and a megamillion for tonight's drawing.

I don't know, they haven't been able to sell out the last 2 or 3 times that they have had the raffle. I do know that I will miss the chance to buy a ticket... on purpose.

From your chart, it looks like they are planning on selling 250,000 ticket at $10 each which mean they plan on raising $2,500,000 and paying out $1,300,000 is prizes plus an addition $6,000 in promotional prizes. Not including the cost of retailers commission and the general cost of running a raffle, they are paying out 52% of sales in prizes. What percent of sales are normally paid out in prizes that make you think there are getting greedy?

I knid of doubt a new draw game is coming- what about all the machines with the scratchers and draw games? Revamp them, call them all back? Maybe but I don't know. The obnes down here no longer accept playslips or let you check your tickets so that was short lived. They're only good for scratchers and QPs on Lucky Day Lotto, Lotto, MM and PB. As far as the raffle, just send Quinn $20 that you can't stand having!

That's odd, I get my tickets at Stewarts all the time and I rarely have problems. Once in a while I have to remind them to return my playslips after they scan them, but that's about it. The last time NY had a raffle, I went in to get a ticket the day they went on sale and the clerk had to ask for help. She couldn't find the game on the machine; it turns out it was under an option for special .

Juat wanted to wish you luck, OP. I am a firm believer in the other side, looking out for us. Kind of creepy, but I received a raffle check from my kids school today. (only $25) and the day I won was on July 18...the date of my grandpa's death. It was kind of reassuring to see that, to know he's still looking out for me. Good luck again, OP! I was aware of that, I've played MA raffles for the last few years. I misled by saying if they sold enough tickets. My implication was that to stay in the black and be profitable, would be dependent on their volume of raffle ticket sales.
