Are lottery pools legal in Michigan?
Here's my response I sent to gmcroman: gmcroman,Here's my experience with almost every lottery pooling Web site: you basically get ripped off. These sites use pools to hide the fact that they charge many times the ticket cost. With the site you mentioned, you're basically buying 8 tickets for $29, or almost $4 per ticket. The way to calculate that is to take their package #1: 400 total tickets, with 50 people in the pool. 400 tickets divided by 50 people is 8 tickets per person, for $29.Plus, yo

MICHIGAN Winfall $5 million
I dont play windfall very much, I prefer the big Jackpots such as Mega Millions. Also, since Windfall is only in Michigan, youd think that there will be more Jackpot millionaires. Not so, I think since the game had started this time in Michigan, there had only been 2 Jackpot winners. Another thing that I hate about this game, it takes forever for the game to get big. It only goes up around $100,000 each time no one wins. Not to mention, the odds are less than Mega Millions. Windfall is played

The Next Big Thing?
But you look at all those and no systems gaurentees anything really. Numbers come out in a random fashion. Can't change that much. If your state using a computer to draw numbers well then there is a algrorithm that gives those numbers. but you would have to be a math genius in every way possible to crack that. Now in most states we have the common white balls. If it is truely random nothing will tell us what happens next. I mean there is odds of things happening but that never gaurentees

Next Big Thing -- Part II
Dear Lotto Lovers,It Is A Widely Known Fact That A Vast Majority Of People Will Have Fate Choose Their Destiny While Buying Lotto Tickets, Going For That Lucky Pick, Quick Pick, Or WHATEVER...!There Have Been Cases Of People Splitting Jackpots Also With This Method. So I Thought What If The Best Numbers From Exatly 100 QuickPick Tickets Are Wheeled Optimally For A GIVEN Lottery. Just Think, Because It's The VERY Same Software That Picks Your Lucky Balls While You Are Glued To TV Sets, Why Not Ta

Belgium lotto results
Here's a real odd-ball theory I've been looking at since I began reading Guru's thread, and I'd be interested in any feedback on it. First of all, I'm referring to the pick-3 as it is the easiest random number game to beat.Has anyone ever worked with the value of Pi as your source of random numbers? You have an unlimited source of random digits that occur together and yet they are bound together by a mathematical/universal constant, the circle.I know I sound crazy, but I really think there

If you won Saturday's Powerball jackpot
Once your name/hometown is associated with a huge jackpot, all the money in the world isn't going to buy back your peace and quiet afforded by anonymity.Fifth cousins (thrice removed) will be less likely to hit you up for startup capital for their great new business opportuniy... if you skip the trust and then someone catches you in a frivelous lawsuit (also now more likely, may as well buy shirts with target symbols on them), now they KNOW about all the marbles and will settle for a small for

Gun Raffles
Hi luckycat...The odds are are the same as winning the lottery or better...same number of chances for the same money. Except the year long raffle is better...365 chances for $30.00. My buddy just won a nice .243 Savage, w/scope and case...thats the second gun he has won. He also won a flintlock.Another friend won a .308 Remington 7600 last year...and I bought him the ticket. This year he bought mine and his.The hungry in America? Have you ever seen how many poor people are fat?

649 system
i also play in washington . sucks that someone won the big one in the plus game before the odds got better huh? o well. also if you didnt notice the jackpot doesnt grow at 1 million per drawing now it creeps up at like 200k per drawing - i guess they want us to play oregons megabucks (which is a 6/48 game) instead. o well there is always quinto. i wouldnt worry about the lotto since you will die of old age before it gets a good jackpot (assuming you live to 100 or so)

Real Question
Hello all, I'm curious, who do you think wins most lottery jackpots; those who plan and dream or casual people who just pick up a ticket on a whim. The reason as I ask is because the recent winner of MegaMillions just picked up a ticket on a whim, I think it's fair to say he's not like us in the he's not really into lotto but the jerk won. Hehe, joking I'm happy for him. It just seems funny to me how many people that win the jackpot are not regular players, planners or lotto dreamers like us.
