To RJohYour example about 6/49 makes sense. Trying to mach 3 to get $50 is a good plan.I will just suggest that if you want to play 10 combinaisons, don't play randomly. Instead, play a selection of 10 numbers. Finding 3 within 10, gives you some excellent odds. Better that finding 3 within 6 X 10 combinaisons.The way to achieve that, is to use a system. To CatYes the same trick can be done for jackpot games, but no big winners. For example in a 649 game which pays if you match 3, the odds of having a ticket that pays is 1:54 so if you pick 10 combinations and check some of the 649 game like Mass Million, Michigan Win Fall, N.J.Pick6, Lotto South MD Lotto,Ohio649P and etc you will probably have a good chance of matching 3 in one of them. Ohio doesn't pay any money for a match 3, but give you a QP. Maybe someone will start posting combinations

You have to track'em. Go back every nine days and draw a line. Watch how they hit. You should be able to put a red star for even or a black for odd in each of those nine day sets. Win D, nice post. I do keep track of what has fallen, at least recently. I'm checking that wheel to see if it is correct. I have two 6/49 wheels with all 49 numbers with a guarantee of a match 3. The one is 163 combinations and the other is 83 combinations. I copied them off the internet, maybe lotto-logix, but I can't find their source. If the smaller one is correct and the payout is still $70 for a match 3, a drive up to Michigan this weekend could pay for itself. I had one number right on 4 of my 5 tickets. All of them different numbers. Just think if those 4 were on the same line! I would of had over $1300 for odds of 1 in 1013. This game is AWESOME. I wonder how this is going to effect my Maryland Lotto, as Md, DC, Va, all fight for some of the same dollars. Years ago Maryland had a lock on the Lotto, but Va came with their Lady Luck advertisment and changed that. It use to be a big battle when Powerball and Big Game just started.
