Odds of Winning
Geroge, (All)Thanks very much for that break down.I was going to to post the same break down for Illinois ,but basically all states are the same.I also play scratchs offs once in a while just for the fun of it .(That's all-Not to win any substancial amount of anything.Your other information about how to play scratch offs is very interesting .Thanks again George.Good Luck to AllPS. My advice is to take that Dollar your going to spend on a scratch off and (AT least) buy a pick 3 box ticket. And in

coming soon.. the big BIG game
The way the Big Game and now Powerball are increasing the odds, you know its got to happen:..6 drums, each containing balls numbered 0 to 99. One ball drawn from each drum. You got to get them all in the order drawn to Jackpot. Jackpots of over $1Billion.. ..but that's because nobody has ever won it. Coming soon, to a kiosk near you..

PB lower tiers not changing?
That's OK that the lower tier prizes aren't changing. Because they are getting rid of the 1's on the Power Play wheel and adding more 5's. Power Play definitely becomes a must play feature (in my opinion). Also the bonus prize (Power Surge?) sounds VERY promissing. With higher odds of winning, it's very conceivable that Powerball may reach the limits where Power Surge will be activated. That money will then be split among all 2nd prize winners. This is over and above what you would normally win.

Theories-not gospel
I do the tic tac toe also which means had I played last night I should have gotten 168 based on 980 midday . I do it this way based on last winning draw, left to right in sequence skipping over number in last drawing912384560I also make a list 0-9 of how many drawings its been since a number has hit, and target overdue digits. Around the 15th of each month I list each possible pair and mark how many times each has hit, overdue pairs, digits I pay attention to based on quick pics,Dow/Nasdaq, last C

does anyone know ?illinios lotto pay out for 4 numbers on 8-
Illinois Lotto: You get $33 for hitting 4 and beating 656:1 odds! Even if you had hit the Jackpot you won't get a lump sum option. Jackpot payout is split up into 26 annual payments, after taxes, of course. lol. If that ain't a rip-off I don't know what one is!You are much better off to play the Little Lotto. It doesn't have the big jackpot.. but that big jackpot is just a fake anyway! Illinois Little Lotto is a pick 5/30 with a paramutual jackpot, paid in $CASH! Best of all, the jackpot is a ro

I won $5 yesterday on EXTRA in Michigan and today I won....
$20!!!! And that was on EXTRA! I picked 3855 for a Daily 4 and got the extra and got 2955 for the extra. Each of them had $10 underneath it. Wow! The odds of that are probably pretty high. Ok five dollars then twenty dollars what next....maybe $500? haha...good luck to everyone in tonights Mega Millions. I am sticking with Mega Ball 25 or 3.

Odds
Thats the correct conclusion.I see why this point missed by lotto players since they don't buy the same number combination twice for the same draw. Why would they, lol.If however you just simply allow the lotto terminal to generate two tickets, a la quick pick , then the second ticket *could* come up as the same combination. If the game has odds of 1 in 1,000,000 that means, on the average, 999,999 times out of 1,000,000 you will lose. Having a second ticket, with a different combination, means,

Randomness and Lotto Math ;)
I read some where that there was a kook in England that claimed he had a system to beat the lottery, but that it was banned. I think he was blowing smoke, because he never revealed it. In the U.S., you can pick your numbers any way you want and play as many as you have the time and money to play. In fact a few years ago, there was a group that tried to buy all the possible combinations in the Virgiana lottery when the odds were smaller and they won the jackpot. The only restriction I know of is

odds are odds....regardless of coincidences
The process for picking the numbers on the second ticket allow for some, or all, of the same numbers chosen for the first ticket. Therefore the number pool you are chosing from is the same for each ticket, therefore the odds of picking the one winning combination is the same. IF you pick the numbers yourself , AND exclude numbers chosen on the first ticket, THEN you have reduced the numbers available in the pool and have ever so slightly increased you chances. My original observation was based on

Todd/A Possible Solution To This Scammer Debate
But...Todd probably doesn't have the personal(computer) skills/money/time to create such a large program like that. I don't get how he has time/money/skill to do lottery.post and playbiggame.com(NEWS) right now. He must have some sort of backing (besides low pay advertisements) to keep his systems up and him always there to update new stuff. Ahhh...and I don't think I'll ask him either. Now what you are asking would require a secure up to the minute sight so the pick 3/4 scammers can't cheat. Th
