Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
Sampled odds are determined the same way as calculated odds, however, we use the frequency of each selection to estimate the odds. If we used the same 100 balls with 10 A balls, 20 B balls, 30 C balls and 40 D balls, then made repeated selections and putting back in to the mix the ball we select, we can track the frequency of our selections for each A, B, C and D picks. Let's say to keep this simple we sampled 100 selections and we got the following selection counts for each A, B, C

Multi-state lottery game comes to Arkansas
After a false start, Decades of Dollars finally lands in fourth state By Todd Northrop In January, a new multi-state lottery game called Decades for Dollars was introduced, and was intended to be offered in the state of Arkansas, but legislative obstacles stopped the plan dead in its tracks at the time. Now those issues have been cleared, and Decades of Dollars has landed in the state three months after the game's first drawing. Starting Tuesday, May 3, tickets for Decades of Dollars

Reduce your odds by a small amount. NO No no noooooo! You are playing in Florida where the 6/53 odds are . . . 6 of 6 is 1 in 22,957,480.00 5 of 6 is 1 in 81,409.50 4 of 6 is 1 in 1,415.82 3 of 6 is 1 in 70.79 Let's take the simple system of eliminating the six numbers from the previous draw. Odds 101

When you say: If you had 1 ticket there are 9999 unplayed combinations. If you wanted 10 tickets you'd need 9 more. Did I get that right? When I s

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Hello LottoKing6, Funny how money sets friendship into perspective. I KNOW who my friends are luckily. I do know that you can have a set of 4 options per pick position and if all the winning numbers was in each of those sets you'd have to buy 1,024 tickets to get a 5 of 5 and be guaranteed to win. Cottoneyed did a lot further testing into it than I did. He's a lot better at math than I am. If you've got any kind of way to get your options down to that, KNOW it and are just wanting a win, I'd

My take on systems
Hi all, I'm new here, just found the website after the big Powerball hype. Anyway, I bought Gail Howards stuff back in the 90's on DOS. LOL....played a few times, lost. Shelved it for 20 years. Now I pulled out her books to play powerball, and I won $14 for the $20 I spent! Pretty good, eh? Lucky. I was thinking about the wheels alone, not accounting for number selection. Lets say I use a wheel with 12 numbers in 24 combinations. Now, the jackpot has odds of 1 in 292,201,338. Now, If I

Lottery Games Are Nothing But A Big Pool Of Players.Play Less Often For Less Lines To Win Big.
NEW YORK LOTTERY's explanation to the lack of sweet million winners. It is still true that for $1, the Lottery's new Sweet Million game offers the best odds of winning $1,000,000. The odds of 1: 3,838,380 to win the jackpot of $1,000,000 cash is over 3 times better than the average $5 scratch off game, 6 times better than the odds to win the Lotto jackpot and over 45 times better than your odds to win the Mega Millions jackpot. However it's always about the sales. Currently, we have sales of

odds of winning
As a new lottery player, I'd like to calculate the odds of winning. Each NYLottery game has posted odds, however, my calculations give different odds. Perhaps I am not doing it right, or they use a different method, but here are my results compared to theirs: If we use #'s 0-9, and pick one number, then odds of winning are 1 in 10. Thus, I just have to buy 10 tickets, play all numbers, and will get a winner 100%. If 3 numbers are picked, then it's 10x10x10, or 000-999, thus 1:1
