Fibonacci Retracement Calculations MegaMillions
If you apply 113% to the highest number, you get a number that is not in the set! If you apply 100% to the lowest number, ... . Searching in probability you would have to see the work of member developer first. This fibonacci percentage is hokus pokus and futures were the biggest scam on Earth next to the Ponzy stuff. If you derive a formula from the financial markets without understanding, be sure that you make a huge chance that nothing of it is right.

His prediction made me win big in the lottery, what should i pay him back?
I wonder if the Great Man was passing out lists of numbers and advising people to pick their plays from them? In joelamby's case, a random set of 39 sent to a few hundred Lotto Texas (54,6) players before each draw might have cast quite a few spells in short order! They would have been amazed that in 8 out of 10 of his mailings, there would have been 4 or more matches, and in 1 out of 8, a very good chance of a 6 bagger! After stopping, people would start requesting more lists, and he could then

Do some number combinations have better odds?
When something completely outside the norm (re: more than three standard deviations off) it's worth the effort to make sure that there was no cheating. Assuming that nobody within the lottery commission cheats, they know the game is random. That's why once they found out a fortune cookie distributer put out those numbers - they paid everyone. Had they found that there was cheating going on the obviously would have done further investitgations to find out which players won fairly and which player

paying taxes on a $1,000 scratch-off
Honesty is the best policy. My advice would be to obey the law and pay the taxes. Trying to scam the government out of taxes on lottery winnings won't be worth what you'll gain by not paying it. There have been a few stories here documenting that fact. Pay the taxes.

Lottery is unfair
You are right on the money Bob. The lottery should allow at least 95% of us loyal players to win the jackpots 100% of the time. Why should they be allowed to rake in all that loot, who gives a toot about their evil motives. I'm writing to my congressman today, and encourage others to do so. This scam must come to abrupt end. The nerve of these guys!

NY brothers charged in plot to steal $5M New York Lottery ticket
When this story first broke you can read my past blogs that i posted stating unequivocally that they were scammers part of a huge mass problem with middle eastern store owners using our own morals and principles against, because when we ask if it is a winner we trust them as store owners and we do not question what they say and so they use that against us. These people come from societies where they scam each other and rip off one another and so this is no surprise to me. I also sent a letter to

NY brothers charged in plot to steal $5M New York Lottery ticket
This whole thing was fishy from the get-go, and many who post here thought something was wrong when the first news article appeared. Dont you think The NYS Lottery thought something was very wrong too? Give them some credit! They werent born yesterday, they've seen all the scams, and they took the best steps they could to get to the real truth. Kudo's to them. The Lottery has an obligation to protect the lottery playing public from scam artists, and they take that responsibility seriously.

NY brothers claim $5M win from '06 lottery ticket
This is nothing more than a scam. This is part of a growing problem across the country. I am sorry to say that dateline NBC discovered, in a special report, that mostly, but not exclusively, middle eastern store owners/clerks were holding back winning tickets from the winners. Winners that would ask them to check the tickets to see if they are winning tickets, the clerk would either say no it is not a winning ticket or it is only a 5 or 10 dollar winning ticket and than they would go and cash th

NJ bill aims to protect lottery winners' identity
Your arguement is nonsensical. The reason for this legislation is that, once a lottery winner is announced publically, they're immediately set upon by any number of beggars, thieves, scam artists, distant relatives looking for money, charities aggressively seeking contributions, gold digging women or men, purveyors of high end items (sports cars, real estate, financial investments, jewelry, yachts, planes, etc) contacting them ceaselessly, kidnappers, burglars, etc; all sorts of types looking to

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.
Fair enough, I hope I didn't come off as scam artist-y. I guess I'll leave my suggestion here in the open for anyone that wishes to consider it. My suggestion is to read as much about cognitive biases as you can to avoid pitfalls in the decision-making process. As an Excel guy that loves and uses a lot of filters it's helped my playing a lot. I'm pretty sure I can't post links yet, but you can find a good list of the most common cognitive biases by Googling list of cognitive biases. The fi
