Keno Rules
You are missing my point. It is easy to isolate a pattern for less than half of the 10 digits. If I were only trying to target for digits I could just look at the previous drawing and pick 4 of those numbers as 99% of the time a minimum of 4 numbers will appear in the next drawing. Usually it is about 5-6 that rollover occasionally going as high as 8 and in extremely rare instances going as high as 10.
This is also why strategies of picking 20 numbers and hoping the winning combination of 10

Missouri scratch offs?
Thanks for the tips guys. So I actually didn't get a chance to buy any on the way... was trying to make the trip in 3 days.
Bought a bunch of $50 scratchers in CO though (Golden Jubilee; newest $50 ticket).. nice odds of 1 in 2 overall (2 in 5 for break-even odds which is actually also quite good)...
Bought 7 off a roll and got money back (5x $50 1x $100; 6 out of 7 winners.. got lucky)
Then bought another 7 and only got $50 back (1 winner) - regressed back to the mean there.
Then

Winhunter revival
Hi Andrew,
I have followed your program for a number of years. It was and still is one of the best in terms of knocking down numbers to get better odds.
I found the manual stack approach extremely hard to follow as I did not know what figures to put into all the boxes to get weights and filters etc.
So I used the AI, and here in Canada, there is a 7/49 lottery. From this, using your program, I got a stack that gave 31 good numbers. From these numbers, when you use 'Scan previous drawing

Illinois Lottery's private manager faces 2nd lawsuit alleging fraud
A second lawsuit has been filed accusing the Illinois Lottery's private manager of defrauding players after an investigation found the lottery did not award many of the biggest prizes in its largest instant ticket games.
The lawsuit was filed last week in Cook County Circuit Court by two people who describe themselves as longtime scratch-off players, and like the first one filed last month in downstate St. Clair County it seeks class-action status to cover all players who bought tickets for t

Bit Picking
BIT IAR is a name that I made up to define what I was trying to accomplish with this strategy. Bit Blocks would probably be a more appropriate name but I had already used that name for a different strategy. I try to be descriptive in my strategy names so that when I look back to an old strategy I can recall what I was trying to accomplish without having to work my way through the code or write extensive notes.
Converting a set of numbers to bits was my first exploration into a new strategy in

Generating Play Slips
Original Post by MaximumMillions
Always interesting to here about people's game plans.
So your goal was winning lots of lower division prizes, right?
Because the odds for the main prize aren't that attractive.

My goal was the 500K, but I haven't played in a while as I was not living in NY. I've hit 9 digits twice in the 4 dozen or so times that I have played so both statistically and financially I am way ahead of the curve.

How to play the lottery following patterns?
The difficulties of playing the lottery with conventional combinatorics.
If we observe the combinations of numbers, their occurrences seem relatively rare.
For instance even with Fantasy5, a lottery in Florida that provides good chances, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1:376.992, and it's drawn daily. Theoretically, you have to play it for about 1000 years for a combination to be repeated. You stand a better chance of winning with extended sets of numbers, even though it has the d

Bulk filtering uisng history
lottoswe
I talked about this type of filtering back in the early days of DMP and your correct, it works well. The problem is that I
need to eliminate numbers from the pool. The benefits IMHO, out-weight the risk as removing one number from the pool
reduces the matrix by 73,815 lines in a 5-39 matrix. Each additional number removed has less of a effect on the overall
reduction. If we select any 5 numbers randomly to play the odds are very good that none of them will show in the next

How to simulate a distribution and use the lottery's own randomness against itself.
Jade has done a lot of hard work and posted it for us to use, if we wish. With all due respect, Tucker Black, from this post, you don't seem to believe in game theory which is pure mathematics. in fact you utter these words:
This is the superstition of numbers chosen more frequently in the past are more likely to hit in the future which is just as false as the superstition numbers chosen less frequently in the past are due to hit in the future .
I have written lots of programs to simulate
