quiz pick-4 daily game odds
I don't know anything whatsoever about Math, but:
If you have 1 position and 10 possible digits the odds of getting 1 particular digit right might be 1/10 or 0.1
If you have 1 position and 3 digits then the odds of getting 3 right might be 3/10 or 0.3
if you have 2 positions and 3 digits to get right maybe 0.3 X 2 = 0.6 as you now have 2 positions and that might be you double the chances (?).
With 3 positions and the same 3 digits now you might have triple the chances, by the way thi

Scratch offs verse Drawings
Depends on the scratch off game and what higher odds terminal game .
Most scratch off games are designed to feed a gambler's itch, every ticket will be an almost winner and the smallest prize is found often enough to keep people coming back. The expected return can be impacted by the largest prizes all having been redeemed
Let's take an example, the Arizona Casino King scratcher.
Currently all the $2000 prizes have been redeemed so you won't get on of those, the remaining priz

Pick 3/4 Meter Made Math Moves
If you want to dispute my claim then simply show me where my mathematical analysis of the probability is incorrect
One more time, each clockwise move has a 10% probability of occurring on each draw
The probability of one or more of three moves (such as 6, 7 or 8) occurring on each draw is 30%
Therefore for each draw the probability of none off the three moves occurring on a draw is 1-.30 = 70%
Agreed? I'd be happy to run a simulation to show that this is indeed the correct

To compute the chance that a number in the range of 1-10 will show up among the 5 white balls (at LEAST once) we need to compute how what the percentage is that the range will NOT be among the 5 white balls.
For the first ball, the odds are 59/69 that it will not have 1-10
For the second ball, 58/68
For the third ball, 57/67
For the fourth ball, 56/66
For the fifth ball, 55/65
Multiple all five terms and you get (59*58*57*56*55)/(69*68*67*66*65) = 0.445467
So if there is a

The government didn't invent probability theory
All combinations have an equal probability of winning, there are no good or bad combinations. All combinations are bad in the sense that they only have a 1 in 292 million chance of winning.
Intuition is a poor substitute for math and scientific principles.
70% of all jackpot winners had Quick Pick tickets, right in line with the percentage of Quick Pick tickets sold.
Let's try a thought exercise. There is a roulette wheel that has

Florida 2015 [paneagle]
LOTTERY REPORT : No one has won a major lottery in florida or the national in months.
HOW TO DRAW THE NUMBURS : Each of the draw lists are given as focal points to the winner set. That is they fall into GROUPS or Ranges that will show UP as focal points of winners. I use the Digit choices to focus on which pairs will work best, such that if a group/range is three choices, the digits will lead to the best choice.
THE 30 AND 1 PRINCIPLE : Each of the draw lists are given as focal points to

New York instant scratch off tickets - new tickets with less odds to win
Didnt the yellow cashword have the best payout of all the games? Back when I calculated approximate losses per book, yellow cashword was top of the 500 tier with 200 loss. (Most were 310-245.) On that note, action Jackson was 101 loss, all three dollar games were 200 loss(out of 300! - confirmed: I've bought about 3 such books), and 20+ were almost exactly 50-55% loss.
Ill have to redo book odds since they keep changing the pay out. Have yet to win an orange word.
In other news...might as

Discovery - New PA Raffle Game Change
Yes, that number seems about right ... between 6,000 to 7,000 tickets a day. I'm still looking for a pickup in ticket sales starting next week ... but that may not happen this time.
So now the question is ... will this be the last raffle with the best odds ever? I have decided to put more money into raffle tickets starting this past Saturday.
This is the big unknown factor ... will ticket sales pick up dramatically the last two weeks or not ?
I have been getting a few tickets here and t

Daily 4 Formulas
I am just about finished with a workout in Excel using past numbers (PN) and Constants (C) in formulas for CA Daily 4. I select from 11 Number Columns 4N1 4N4; 4M1 4M4; 4NRS; 4MRS; 4GRS (Root Sums for numbers and mirrors; and the root sum of the game number digits) in a previous game (Game Back). I set a Constant to be used in the formula. I am running the following formulas: (1) PN-PN, (2) PN-C, (3) PN^2-PN, (4) (PN^2+PN^2)^.5. I have generated thousands of results for each formula going back 5

Here comes BBQ-scented N.C. Lottery scratch tickets
In the never-ending effort to make buying a lottery ticket new and fun, the N.C. Education Lottery has come up with tickets that smell like barbecue when you scratch them.

The $2 scratch-and-sniff tickets will bring a chance to win up to $25,000 and to enter a secondary drawing for one of 10 prizes of 100 pounds of pork and a Big Green
