How Sad Would You Be?
Well, instead of thinking about it in terms of years, try to think about it in terms of drawings. 104 drawings a year (est) * 20 = 2,080 drawings Sounds like a lot right? But in the case of Powerball, let's try the math assuming one ticket per drawing. Obviously the matrix has changed over 20 years but cost and odds aside we can make a reasonable generalization (i.e. all things held constant). (175,223,509/175,223,510)^2080 = 0.9999881441 That gives us the probability that you lose 2

Do Lottery Software program help YOU WIN lottery?
@mypiemaster There is no reason, for a program that works, to be on sale to the public. If it actually works, the developers will be too busy, raking in millions every week, instead of wasting their time selling the program for mere pittance. People by nature, do not like to share a cashcow. Of course, if it was possible for any program/method to propose a small set of lines and have the winning combination in there every so often, nobody would share it. We don't talk about that here, thi

DEBUNKING OLD MAN'S ZERO TRICK by LottoMetro You have got to be kidding Lottomeet ! It was called ...... the Old Man's............. Trick ! Not the Old Man's .........system. Has Gail Howard done it again?
Thank you for your reply. I can understand your skepticism. However one of the Jackpot definitions in the dictionary is a TOP PRIZE , and its a top prize. I am curious why the odds for a pick 4 is just a bit worse for a pick 20. I did go and buy the magazine, with a cringe as I opened my wallet and handed over the money. If winning a pick 4 is 1:10000 to make 5,000 Then I assume winning a pick 7 keno is mor diffficult, but after buying cringing face the article I realized h

Why is the Ohio Classic Lotto so difficult to win?
it's rolling for a couple of years that discourages local players. That's it right there. When you have a game where it's hardly ever won, then people hardly ever want to play. Ohioans seem to have OCL fatigue. Sales for last Ohio Classic Lotto draw were lower than both PB and MM, even though odds are better and JP is higher: Game JP Sales OCL $68.1M ~$400K PB $40M $632K MM $59M $757K Compare that to California SuperLotto Plus, which had higher sales than either

Ohio Classic Lotto goes more than 2 years without winner
Hi all This is really nothing unusual, In simulations I have ran it's nothing for a lottery to go several times the number of sets in the matrix without matching the set being tested. We se PB and MB with much greater odds getting way more often but you must consider ticket sales. I think I read that the normal sales are 100,000 to 300,000 per drawing. 13,983,816/300,000 = 46.6. Lets say that one person purchased 300,000 tickets then they could expect to win about 1 in 46.6

Why You Will Never Quit Playing The Lottery In Your Lifetime.
Just like a little good boy, aping the slogans you've been reading through the years. You have to be in it to win it . I've got a slogan for you to repeat. You're never going to win . Even A 10 year old with half a brain can understand why there's a very good chance (99.9%), that he won't win a major JP in his lifetime. You're supposedly an adult who should have just a smidgen more intelligence than a 10 year old. You and the other deluded individuals on this site should be ashamed of your

Megamillions and Powerball Games
jimbe Why have you not answered one of my first questions concerning evolution. The question is really not about evolution in general it's about the odds. Evolution is mathematically equivalent to winning the lottery every day for thousands of years without a single miss. Your a pick and choose sort of guy which is why I will never take you serious. Same thing when you mock my digit system, you pick out the part which agrees with the expected odds but ignore the human element of b

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
That's what I can't seem to find out ... been searching around over the last few weeks to try and find out if there is just one number each for the 1 through 5 Power Play pick or are there a bunch of 2s and 3s over the 4s and 5s. I think it should be only one number for each number 1 - 5. If that is so then it might not be a fair draw ... especially since it is digital and moves so fast. If there are more 2s in the mix then why would anyone play the extra dollar if your odds are much better a
