Alright, so my gf was nagging to buy a book after I said I kinda wanted to buy one. So we did, stopped by Publix and grabbed a book of 60 tickets of the 2500 a week for life ($5 ea, total of $300) and went to the machine near the register, bought two $20 Flamingo Fortunes. Since the machine had two slots with them, I bought one from each. After about 30 minutes, here is the conclusion. Your assumption was lottery players would not only continue to play the same way forever, but use the same 8 lines. I didn't use the same 8 lines over and over. The program simulated 2 players with different strategies. Each game the program generated 8 new tickets. For player A it arranged all 48 numbers into random arrangements on the 8 tickets.
