Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?

You seem to be easily impressed, and you misunderstand the statistics.

Post your scratch ticket results
Alright, so my gf was nagging to buy a book after I said I kinda wanted to buy one. So we did, stopped by Publix and grabbed a book of 60 tickets of the 2500 a week for life ($5 ea, total of $300) and went to the machine near the register, bought two $20 Flamingo Fortunes. Since the machine had two slots with them, I bought one from each.
After about 30 minutes, here is the conclusion.
Flamingo Fortune:
Ticket #28 +$20
Ticket #14 +100
Nice! two for two, and already up.

End of game schedule / Top prizes not yet claimed
To clarify a few things, you are typically dealing a few different entities here:
1. Scratch ticket manufacturer, like Scientific Games
2. Scratch distributor/vendor, like GTECH, they provide the turnkey solution of machines support systems
3. Your state Lottery, which is just the lottery commission and various administrative people
The ticket manufacturer knows EXACTLY where the top prizes are. Yes, the initial order is printed in bulk, but in batches of tickets equal to the odds on

Statisticians search for how to beat the lottery
You've probably heard the saying: Liars figure, but figures don't lie. Well, it's probably true the chances of winning a Powerball jackpot is more than 1 in 175-million. Still, there's always somebody that thinks they can beat the system.
Whether it's your wedding anniversary, your birthday, your child's birthday, or the date of another event that's important to you, people typically pick random numbers as any state lottery official will tell you, every number drawn is completely random.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Your assumption was lottery players would not only continue to play the same way forever, but use the same 8 lines.
I didn't use the same 8 lines over and over. The program simulated 2 players with different strategies. Each game the program generated 8 new tickets. For player A it arranged all 48 numbers into random arrangements on the 8 tickets. Player B just simulated a QP player and it generated 8 random tickets and didn't care if there were duplicate numbers on the tickets. I don't th

Biggest lottery game ever in the works?
...Now if only Florida WOULD join the MegaMillions first, then the MUSL can create any national lottery they want. Honestly, do they believe people wouldn't play our state lottery? I'm sure the result would just be like California, where people still actually play the state lottery too.
In all seriousness though, this sounds really interesting! An actual national lottery could be something huge! Not sure if I'd want a national scratcher though. Not enough options and despite the better odds,
