inunel: KENO NUMBERS That follow each other?
Hey ridge, et al, you are spot on! My point with this follow up on the elusive inumel, is that the uninitiated newbies players really have very little understanding with what they are trying to accomplish, let alone the forces of sobriety that oppose their sincere but misguided efforts - and many of the system sellers systematically loot these innocents. Usually those who pursue the Golden Fleece (Arganouts) are the ones who become flecced themselves..... Having said that (and not inten

A Black Swan in the lottery?
Pick 3 odds: 1:1000 Pick 3 payout: 500 Pick 3 result: 499 Edge = bank advantage = (1000 - 499)/1000 = 501/1000 = 50.1% not just 50% // Help: 499 = 500 payout - 1 bet. The fair payout would be 1000. There are 000 to 999 possible combinations, that equals to 1+999 = 1000. The payout is lousy compared to roulette! For roulette you are allowed to keep your bet, unless you tip the dealer. Edges: Pick 3: 50.1% (1-499/1000) or (499/1000-1) Roulette American: 5.26% (1-36/38) o

Let's Take A Simple And Basic Approach To This...
I haven't done a thread here in years so I'm gonna give it a shot, again, in an effort to try and help people...teach people how to fish. Some of this may already be common sense, and, maybe not. The more experienced players should grasp this pretty darn easy, though. Okay, in Pick 3, the number can only be drawn in (1) of (4) formats: two evens with an odd, two odds with an even, str8 even, and str8 odd. That's it. Disregard all of the high/low stuff because they're all in the formats in the en

PICK 4,5,6 Cracked - New System
Remember this from your post at the beginning of this thread? After years of research, analysing and testing I have finally produced a perfect mathematical algorithm for any pick 4,5,6 game. It does not use past draw data but the entire pool to calculate the best numbers and positioning on tickets to maximize win ratios. Please read my blog, it explains the sytem in more detail. https://blogs.lotterypost.com/developer/ Please post back your thoughts. If you would like me to run y

$363 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised due to heavy sales
By Todd Northrop Mega Millions lottery players across the United States are pulling out the stops for the Tuesday evening drawing, which now stands as the largest Mega Millions grand prize in more than a year. The estimated jackpot of the March 27, 2012, Mega Millions drawing was raised Monday from $356 million to $363 million because of heavier than expected sales in all Mega Millions states. Likewise, the lump-sum cash value of the massive grand prize was raised to $259.8 million, an

What States allow us to play their Lottery from home PC?
Wow, I'm finding more and more topics which I've elaborated on years ago...and this one is most interesting by far! Let's see, where do I start? Oh, I'll begin with piggy-backing off of rdgrnr's and four4me's posts early in this thread. Yes, it's very true that the government doesn't want us to have what I'll call a true fairness in this lottery deal and they take lots of pride in the monopoly of it thereof. It all goes back to the payouts which I've also discussed many, many times and how they'

What Key Words Catch Your Attention To Read A Thread?
None of the above. The posters handle gets my attention. Certain posters, the old timers, and those who post about ways to track patterns, and new ideas that simplify the process are getting to be the only threads I respond too. I look at almost anything posted. Discussions of specific software: turnoff. Questions about best software: turnoff. All software requires user input and knowledge of the specific game. It may help you make the right decisions but none spit out the winnin

New "Online" Lottery
I did a little searching but havent found naything on here about so I figured I would ask. Has anyone else heard about or received any emails about this new online Players lottery that is supposed to be starting. It is supposed to be a $10million lottery with odds of 1 in 300,000 to win the jackpot. I guess tickets will be $50 a piece and the jackpot is guaranteed to be hit. I am not trying to plug/promote this thing in any sort of way. I was just asking if anyone else heard of it.

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
And this statement If the fraction theory worked all we would need would be one massive LP pool to hit jackpots left and right does zero for your argument. You're not understanding what it is or how much he doesn't understand. Notice that he said Each one adittional line eliminates 14,000,000 combinations! Forget that it doesn't seem to have any realistic relationship to the numbers he started with. Ignore his disagreement for the moment. He doesn't even understand what it is he's being tol

Am I Better Than Random?
The best way to figure your percentage is to add up all your wins and loses and look at the percentage for the whole period rather than the percentages for particular drawings. combination size 6 basic pool size 53 (B) bonus numbers none smallest match 1 tickets or chances per draw 10 possible combos of 6/53 numbers = 22957480 MATCH ODDS WINNING COMBOS ODDS 10 CHANCES EXPECTED WINS 6/6 1 : 22957480 1 1 : 2295748 0.00 5/6 1 : 81410 282 1 : 8141 0.00 4/6 1 : 141
