Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
KY Floyd
Thanks for the reply, I am getting use to everyone thinking that I don't understand what I say.
I could of earned a MD in statistics had I only paid attention. Satistics are very useful for many
things, I just haven't found any that will help me pick winning numbers. My views on random
are also very different then most which also leads me to the conculsions that I draw concerning
the lottery. If I use different rules for random then I must rethink the odds also. If the od

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers

I know the odds for each digit hitting in any one drawing and most of the remarks made by the staticians
are a insult. There continued repetitious comparisons to probability shows a complete lack of any attemp

from a list of 10 is much easier then picking from a li

Turn a Lottery Post loser into a Powerball Winner
Alright, this may seem off the wall but I've got a thought on how to turn at least one Lottery Post member into a Powerball winner.
If you're like me, the one thing you can guarantee each powerball drawing is that you're going to lose - the odds are 1 in 195 million against a win. So why not turn that skill of picking crappy numbers to an advantage.
So here's my thought - Lottery Post has 105,138 members. If everyone were to pick 10 combinations that they felt would lose that would give yo

Math Versus Good Luck/Bad Luck or Dumb Luck
So anybody know the odds of picking 6 numbers out of the 10 possible for a
Pick 3 then wheeling those 6 numbers in 20 different plays not getting a
single one right because even though you picked 6 out of 10 numbers to play
you didn't get even one number correct because all 3 #s drawn were from the
4 remaining numbers you didn't pick! What are the odds or math of that happening!
To be honest sometimes I think I would have better luck picking 6 numbers, then
just throughing

Michigan Lottery holds annual Millionaire Raffle drawing
By Todd Northrop
The Michigan Lottery conducted its fifth annual holiday-time Millionaire Raffle drawing today, the state's 17th raffle drawing overall since 2007.
The complete list of winning numbers for the latest raffle draw can be found on Lottery Post's Michigan Lottery Results page.
The $20 raffle tickets went on sale Nov. 8, 2010, and a total of 600,000 were available for the drawing. Unlike most previous Michigan raffle drawings, the game was not sold out: more than 90,000 ticke

$330 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record high
By Todd Northrop
Mega Millions lottery players across the United States are pulling out the stops for the Tuesday evening drawing, which now stands as the largest Mega Millions grand prize since August, 2009.
The estimated jackpot of the January 4, 2011 Mega Millions drawing was raised Monday from $290 million to $330 million because of heavier than expected sales in all Mega Millions states.
Likewise, the lump-sum cash value of the massive grand prize was raised to $208.3 million, and

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Our GA Lottery Black ticket is better than yours in Florida, but then again ours is a $10 ticket instead of $5. The games with the same dollar amount seem to as a whole blow away GA games with much better odds down there. Looking at those odds makes me wish that I lived in Florida! I sure will play when I go there from now on.
I wish I hadn't quit my sorry ass job hauling cars for my last boss. My runs took me all over North and Central Florida. I would make a loop starting in down I-95 to Ja
