NY Scratcher Tickets ($30, $20, $10, $5)
Just wanted to start a little discussion on the NY state scratchers, if anyone else plays. Wondering what everyone knows about the prizes and what type of luck people have.
I won 100 dollars the other day (in a draw game). Decided I'd start playing a lot of scratchers again, not just a dollar or two (those ones have awful odds). Super 7 is back in PA!
Here's the info on Super 7, Part Deux. Again, these are facts about an actual game coming March 10th, not a proposal from me:
To play, one selected 7 numbers from 77. The lottery will select 11 numbers from 77. You win by matching 3 or more numbers out of the 11 drawn. Matching all 7 numbers on a ticket to any 7 of the 11 drawn wins the jackpot.
The jackpot starts at $1 million annuity value. You'll have to choose annuity or cash when you buy your ticket.

One way or another
As with any lottery, anything is possible but somethings are more likely. Since there are more lower tier winning combinations, it more likely that more players will win one of the lower tier prizes than those winning the higher tier prizes.

Ohio Lottery rings in the New Year with raffle
For four lucky Ohio lottery players, 2009 will begin with a windfall of one million dollars.
The winning numbers for the Ohio Lottery's New Year's Raffle game were announced this evening. The full list of lottery results can be found on Lottery Post's Ohio Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/oh).
The $20 tickets for the raffle went on sale November 14, 2008. Of the 500,000 tickets that were available, all but about 38,000 were sold.
