Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
But based on my understanding of the Don't Pass bet, you're forgetting to show the effect of getting a 2,3,12 or 7/11 on the come out roll - which makes the edge of the much small - but existant. Because of the large number of no results , the odds on Craps actually change. The come out roll favors the Pass Line but the odds are 3 to 1 that a number will be rolled and when that happens the odds will favor the Don't. Any house edge is based on the odds favoring the house over a period of

To Win Pick4: Basically Guess Yes or No: 8 times...
because of the collision factor, 1/10 of a second late a ball is and changes the whole scenario...This is one reason why i prefer RNG over balls machines... It shouldn't matter how the results are determined because you're still guessing what the results will be. you can get lucky but cracking the game will take a box system or a wheel...i said it before... I'm surprised you didn't include the millions of dollars we could win each year by simply making 8 correct guesses in every dra

Odds duplicate numbers
posted this in math and other areas for comments. I have noticed with both MEGA/Powerball that quite often when buying three or four series of numbers on ONE ticket, MEGA BALL or POWER BALL number, the last one, orange/red etc.. is often duplicted on one or two of the series. I emailed PB officials as was happening about this as odds seem to be rather slim that this is coincidence , Got a song and dance bit from someone claiming to be I am Director etc but level of reply so badly bung

First time in the Texas Pick 3
Well, I finally jumped into playing the Texas Pick 3 games. After a careful analysis of the odds and of the Sum It Up option, I decided that it was the Sum It Up where the hits were to be made so I played exact numbers with minimum $0.50 wagers but selected numbers to cover a spread of sums adjusting the bet amount to maximize the expected return at close to a $0.50 on the dollar expectation. It would seem that playing boxed simply drops the expectations down to $0.48 on the dollar from $0.50 so

Looking the mathematic formula or a good program summing
John, You perfectly right when writing about the to numberous possibilities about sums , particulary with a game that has 70 numbers in its field. So like any lottery game you have to see the best pattern to increase your odds. So why i do bet mostly not exceeding 6 numbers which worth 1,000.$ for a perfect match 6/6 or 25.$ for a 5/6 , still not bad to refund oftently what you spend in tickets, my average being 5 tickets a day. Here the cost is 1.$ by play and a coupon afford you to play

Tips for winning
Here are some tips / strategies to use when playing scratch-off tickets: 1) Do your homework, check for any information about specific games. This means going to lottery website( if available ) or contacting them directly. When gathering info keep in mind such things as odds, prizes, etc. For example, hypothetically only,I would go to lottery website to check out a new ticket just made available this week.I would find the link which gives all odds for this particular ticket.Ok,here it is,hmmm... $1

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
Here's the formula for what percentage each additional ticket (beyond the first) reduces the odds: Nx = x-1 N stands for the sequence of tickets. X stands for the particular ticket purchased. Here is the second ticket in action: N2 = 2-1 = 1/2 Odds are reduced by one half when you buy the second ticket. N21 = 21-1 = 1/21 Odds are reduced by one twenty-first when you buy the twenty-first ticket, instead of buying only twenty. Here's the supp
