Frustrated
PackMan Some of us here have been playing over 30 years. There are posts on this board that have discussed a lot of this, playing the same numbers and all. Someone pointed out that mathematically your numbers will hit, you just have to live 483 years to make sure it happens. You said, but i say no way because eventually the odds are in my favor... Not really. The odds are always the same, each drawing is an entirely new entity. There's no such thing as a perpetual set of nu

The prediction software you've been waiting for?
a few can analyze data but none can analyzes data in such a way as to be able to predict numbers any better than quick picks. I think it's because we fool ourselves into believing that we have enough data to predict numbers. Are there any 5/39 games with 575,757 draws where we could analyze trends? Even with Pick-3 games, is one full trial (1000 draws) enough to accurately evaluate random draws or do we need more? The problem is no one has identified enough information about winning

Daily Numbers
Thanks for your efforts to do it right DH. How great it would be to beat the odds this way. I don't know if folks actually know how really hard this would be to accomplish on a regular basis. Lot of predictors throw out the same amount of numbers each day.....actually even more numbers really. The big difference is that they shot gun those numbers. They are not State Specific ! How to become a predictor..... 1. Grind out 40 or 50 numbers a day ....a

CBS publishes second hatchet job on lottery
your right , under the current lottery operatons there is no way to convince me ; Put the state police at each of the drawings and have the state appoint an attorney general to oversee the legal contracts which go on everyday behind closed doors ; inspect the ball machines and the balls themselves everyday put that live and on TV ; give back money to the community/ players that put money into the process.... in ot

Connecticut postal worker 'set for life'
Special delivery for post office employee A Manchester, Connecticut, resident and postal worker is set for life. Ken Brenton won the Connecticut Lottery's new scratch and win game Set for Life. Brenton said after getting his hair cut Tuesday he walked a few doors down the street and bought two scratch tickets at the Forest Package Store. When neither ticket yielded any prizes, he opted to buy one more. Scratching the ticket, Brenton revealed a number 3 and noticed it matched the

Mortal Lock of the Day, Plus - 9/23
Rick G, etal- Thank you Rick for appreciating the payoff challenge with LOCK selections. I mostly post the 'mortal lock' pics at the behest of Mike, a PM who only wants the closest thing to the ostensible sure bet. ( Jay Trotter: [waiting for the race result to be announced] I've done nothing to deserve this anguish. ) WHO DOESN T LIKE 20/1 BOMBS?

A dollar and a dream true for PB and MM?
The discussion is definitely, and clearly, about math. Go back and look at how it started. If it isn't about math why was your first contribution about set theory? It is a mistake to say you double your chances by buying 2 tickets, because what you are doing is falling into a math trap. You see when you fractionalize by half, you are now saying there are now TWO distinct sets of possible outcomes per draw. Both of those statements are wrong. 1. Nobody is faling into a ma
