$355 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased
Historic drawing to be held in Times Square, New York City
The estimated jackpot of the March 6, 2007 Mega Millions drawing was raised from $340 million to $355 million on Monday because of heavier than expected sales in all Mega Millions states.
New York City's Times Square will provide the setting for the historic Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday night.
The massive $355 million estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is the largest in the game's history.

It happens rarely with very large jackpots that the probability for a rollover falls below 50%. We may see such a jackpot now, if more than 122M tickets are sold - and I think that this will be the case.
However the single most probable number of winners if there is a winner will still be one.
Here is the probability distribution for numbers of winners if sales were one quarter of a billion dollars:

$340 MILLION: Biggest Mega Millions lottery jackpot ever
The $340 million jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery drawing will be the largest since The Big Game became Mega Millions in May of 2002.
If The Big Game's jackpots are included, the Tuesday Mega Millions jackpot is the second-largest ever to The Big Game's record of $363 Million, set in May of 2000.
The only other lottery jackpots that are comparable to Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot are Powerball's $340 million jackpot on October 19, 2005 and the $365 million jackpot on February

Play to lose!!
Pick 10 in NY pays out $4 if you have no winning numbers.
10/20/80...look at it this way...the odds are much better picking 10 from 60 than 10 from 20 out of 80, right? so I've been trying to "lose" for the past couple of days and yes I do get 9/10 losing numbers or 8 of 10...heh heh,
the odds are better but it isnt easy like I expected.
I'm trying to come up with a formula, but so far nothing.
I've tried pi x number x 2 and that is a bust. Always one number shows up.
This makes me m

I normally buy 4 to 6 draws of PB and/or MM at a time.
I play the lottery like it's the stock market, and I play the stock market like it's the lottery....
I play Illinois and Wisconsin Lotteries.....
Powerball is big so I will play it heavier, but the odds being so bad, I will restrict my playing of it. (won $10,000 in Sept)
Played $10 last night....
Megabucks is up and the odds are 20x better to win so I will play much more of it than everything... When MB goes down I play nearly nothing... Played maybe $20 last night..

End of a ERROR in Pennsylvania
I called you out on my recent posts, Cash , but you refused to respond and failed to refute my reasoning.
You didn't think you could hide from me, did you?

Lucky For Life vs. Flip & Switch
LFL is a 6/38 game. I used two 4 of 6 wheels tonight and won five 3-number prizes and one 4-number prize, for a total of $55. This is my sixth or seventh 4 of 6 win in this game
But that is not important.
What IS important is the following: A smaller number field game allows for better number selection strategies to utilize wheels more successfully, especially ones with fewer combinations.

Is There A Profitable Pick 3 Strategy?
You gotta be kidding js1237...... Gee really? Do ya think that? There is risk in gambling? Remarkable ..... LOL
Let me research that for another 20 years and get back to you on your insightful speculation. LOL
js 1237....... you are assuming his point. He did not ask for a NOT TOO RISKY A Bet.....
He simply ask for a verifiable system that would show a consistent profit over time.
Pick 3 odds are crap no matter what .... duh! Las Vegas Slot machines are 15 times bet

Is There A Profitable Pick 3 Strategy?
WIN D...
Your system is risky and not cost effective, and even if you win $37.50, wagering .25 box at a cost of $30, the profit is a mere $7.50..
If you are going to risk $30, the rewards should be much greater than $7.50.
Furthermore, if you play 25/25, at a cost of $60, and do not hit straight, and only a box for $37.50, then you have lost $22.50....
So unless your 90% odds is for a straight hit, it is not worth the risk...JS1237.
OK .... Most folks can't handle the truth. Yo
