Devil's Advocate Mode - Foreign Lottery Scams.
It's sad. I think a lot of the lottery scams going on right now are a direct result of the U.S. clamping down on foreign lottery play ... since dealing directly with the lottery agency (and not through a ticket reseller) was, at the time, safe. And now with the internet, it would seem like an easy task to identify certain sites as legitimate (if they existed) and others as scam sites. In Australia's case, such a site could be mentioned on their official government website. I still think, howe

Stolen lottery ticket wins suspect a trip to jail
People are looking for something that isn't there. Generally, I speak fairly harshly on thieves and other criminals (elected and otherwise). Anyone who has read my comments in the past can see that. I doubt my comment would have been taken as racist, had there been no picture with this story (or if I had made a similar comment in the charity scam story). Some people will cry foul at anything they don't agree with but can't articulate a sound counter-argument against. If I disagree with Hil

Man caught stealing from charity lottery
Thanks, Todd. I agree with your comment and it's unfortunate that a crime like this often affects good charities, because people get very wary and stop giving. This is also why I don't understand the members who wonder why someone would hesitate to send money to a total stranger on an internet board who could be a thief, drug dealer or pedophile. (or a rich scam artist like this guy) This snip might have gotten away with it too had he not been so greedy. Last year a man broke into the loc

Verification site for lotteries
All the information you need is in the email. 1. Are they telling you that you've won a lottery you didn't enter? 2. Is the email from somebody you didn't give your email address to? 3. Is the email address of the lottery at Yahoo, Hotmail, or some other web-based email provider? If the answer to any of those questions is yes, then it's a scam.

Official gets 8 years at home for rigging lottery
I have a question.... How did anyone find out about this inside scam? I would never seriously consider cheating like that, but if I did, and I collected a any amount of money let alone a jackpot.... I damn sure wouldn't tell anyone and I would kneecap anyone threating to rat me out!

Can One Really Predict Numbers ...
Welcome to LP! Newguy divided 120 singles combos into 4 sets and guaranteed a hit if a single was drawn. There are 120 singles or 6-way boxes so his guarantee is based on the 1 in 4 chance of choosing the correct set. His suggesting for choosing the correct set was All Pick 3 players know which number to play . Than he gave 91 doubles or 3-way boxes divided into 5 groups of 16 and 1 group of 11 (he used 566 twice) with no playing strategy suggestions. Britney's parody method was much bette

How does that scam go?
Western Union is getting proactive because some of the scammers use Western Union money transfer services in their scams. At a couple of local grocery stores providing these services, there are signs at the counter warning about sending money to people you don't know, for online auctions, to claim prizes, etc. Hopefully people about to fall for this will see the signs and not go through with it. As for getting money back for those who do fall for it, the chances of it are usually slim to no

Randomness of the lottery
I appreciate you sticking up for me. This is no scam, the pattern is real in its integrity. The pattern does exist, but only the names have been changed to protect the INNOCENT, Truth be told, there has never been a more predictable lottery. In fact to look at the 2nd drawing and compare it to the first and not see the pattern one would have to be blind. To be close minded is a sure way of not seeing the pattern or using it to win or increase ones advantage over others. To come against

Has anyone used the Code Cracked System?
I'm not sure if this is the same thing as what you're saying above...by your logic, should you even be on this forum? I think we're all here to get advice, learn from others, and maybe just interact with people who are interested in playing the lottery. There are hundreds of lottery systems on the internet...hundreds of lottery books in existence as well...I'm asking if anyone has any experience with this particular system, and is willing to comment on their experience. If it is a scam, I
