Sweet Million is your best chance from the New York Lottery to win a million for just a buck.
I have to agree with a lot of what you posted.
Let's face it, a million bucks in today's dollars sure isn't what it used to be. But a lot also depends upon the personal financial situation of the person who won it too, not to mention their motivation or goals in general.
A 660K (after taxes) Sweet Million win wouldn't fix much for me. That's because I dont have a lot that needs fixing . For me personally, winning 660K would not only pay off my house, but both of my daughter's student loans

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Hiya ...I noticed that a few liquor stores on melrose the owner scratches his own tickets.
Even at a vending machine I have seen the person loading take the first three and last three tickets
I am not convinced the odds stated are realistic because the odds were calculated by how many tickets issued to how many winners. I think if the odds stated how many tickets distributed and winners we would see what a losing deal the ca lottery is. The tickets have serial number so the state mustard k

NY Sweet Millions
You couldnt be more correct if you had to be!! I think people dont like the game because of SM's lousy lower tier prizes and the fact that the JP doesnt roll over. But their thinking is flawed. It definitely is all about the odds. You're right too that it has the best odds to win a million anywhere. I know that because I checked the other state's lottery's websites, and you wont find anything with odds as good or better anywhere.
I normally buy the PowerPlay or The Megaplier when I play eithe

is anyone making an income from lottery
It's useless for you to give the probability against it happening when there is a chance.
LOL. Really? If I knew you, and if it was legal, I'd give you 749 to 1 against you for any Pick 3 straight number anyday. Hell, I'd even give you 799 to 1. There's always a chance, you know? (That's right, I don't care what method you use. I'd still lay you better than the states do if it was legal, which I'm fairly certain it is NOT.)
Of course it matter WHAT the probability is. Obviously

Do some number combinations have better odds?
By saying that I'm guessing about my odds, you're implying that the game isn't a completely random event.
The odds you're quoting are the average, but you already showed the odds or probability should deviate from the average. If you know there should be deviation, you should know you're guessing.
So EITHER I'm guessing about my odds (because the game isn't completely random), OR I know them (because the game is.)
The results of the random events showed the expected deviation from a

Which odds are better. Part 2.
I'm looking for my best OVERALL odds of coming out ahead on a large bet.
MM, where odds of hitting $250k are 3.9 million to $1.
or
Scratcher, where odds of hitting $500k are 4.8 million to $1. (AZ. $20. Extreme Green)
Yes, there is no chance of hitting the big jackpot prize with a scratcher AND odds of hitting $10k on MM are better at 689,000 to $1 compared to scratcher at 1.2 million to $1
But, scratcher has some $20k $5k and $1k prizes thrown in that MM does not have.
And, w

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
So using your math above I'll put $100,000 on it, reducing the odds against me to 5.757 to 1, 575,757 / 100,000 according to KY Floyd.
It's chances to lose to chances to win reduced to the lowest common denominator. (575,757 - 100,000) / 100,000; 4.75757 to 1. And not a good bet when the payoff odds are only $1.50 to $1.
The starting jackpot is $100,000, tonight's is $250,000, so I'll play my $100,000, make a $250,000 score and there you go, right. 250% return, not bad.
You forgot t

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
Couldn't answer the question huh? I know because an honest answer would defeat your argument.
Not saying that an additional ticket reduces the combinations in half merely the odds.
And it wouldn't continue to be cut in half with each ticket merely divided into the total number of combinations.
Your arguing with mathematical facts. Odds are indeed based on total number of combinations VERSUS COMBINATIONS PLAYED.
It is a fact that 2 - 175mill still leaves 174,999,998 but that does not

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
Looking at the odds, it's easy to explain. You have 50 numbers out of 1000 so the odds against 1 of the 50 being drawn is 950 to 50 or 19 to 1 in every drawing until one hits and then the odds become worst for the remaining numbers. The odds will always favor a duplicate number being drawn when more than 500 numbers are drawn. If 500 different numbers are ever drawn in 500 drawings, somebody better be checking the RNG.
As far as a single straight played combination goes the odds are not 1/10

Money, Money, Money and no Honey
One thing that was not mentioned is that besides the better prizes, you get better odds. Usually the overall odds improve with more expensive games. Not always with every game, but in general. I won most of my $100 winners on $10 and $20 tickets. Keep in mind that in Georgia, I did win $100 on a $1 ticket, but that was odds of 1 in 4,800. Not likely to happen again. For roughly the same odds, you could win up to $1,600 on a $10 ticket. 10X the money, but 16X the payout, or 60% more for every dol
