At 11:59 PM they had 30,514 tickets left. Unless someone bought some tickets during the last 60 seconds they were available, the raffle is going to be out of nearly 970,000 tickets instead of 1,000,000. So the odds of winning something are actually closer to 1:477 now instead of 1:492. And the odds of winning $1 million are 1:107,778 instead of 1:111,111.

Tomorrow's the last day to buy tickets and there are still slightly over 100,000 left. Unless there is a last minute rush to get into the raffle, it doesn't look like they're going to sell out...but they'll come pretty close. With only a week left to the drawing, Virginia still has over half of it's raffle tickets unsold. That's over 175,000 tickets unsold as of last night. That's sure gonna make the odds a whole lot better if it stays that way. I just might get a couple more tickets.

I hope you are right Todd, but I have my doubts. I checked last years Rhode Island raffle on the RI lottery website and there is no pic or even a mentioning of who won last years drawing. And I noticed that the 1 million dollar winning ticket(there was only one million dollar prize) was one of the last 5000 sold. So if they were going to buy them up, it would be last remaining tickets. It seems suspicious to me. It would be nice to find out who won through some source, if not from the lottery it

Wow, some of the raffles are about sold out while VA still has over 2/3 of their tickets remaining. They still had over 225,000 left out of the original 330,000 as of 10 pm tonight. This could be good news for players short term if they stick to the original draw date and prize allotment but bad news long term regarding the future of raffle games. Looks like the Florida raffle may actually come close to selling out now. Either you guys were right about people wanting to get their tickets in the middle, or their little drive to a district office for a free scratch off ploy has worked, as there was a surge in buying this week. I tracked the number of remaining tickets somewhat throughout the week, and they managed to sell over 100,000 tickets in 4 days. I bought my dad a Millionaire Raffle ticket because he buys all these expensive gifts for us for Christmas, and this is the only chance I have to reciprocate. I bought my best friend's parents (we go to see them every year on Christmas Day) a Redskins Lotto Scratcher because they are Redskins fans.
