ODDS problem
An odds question with abbreviated wheels. In a KENO game if your playing P6 15 numbers and you got lucky and hit 6, 7 or 8 of the 20 numbers picked in your 15 numbers, would the odds of hitting all 6 of the numbers on one line be better for a 3 if 3 game or would one of the other ifs be better? (3 if 4, etc.) We know each method requires a different quantity of numbers to play. But would one 'if' have over all better odds of hitting than the others. I'm guessing there are too many varia

Colorado Lottery launches updated Lotto game
Under the old regime I could have purchased 2 tickets for $1 apiece and had odds of 1 in 2.6 million. Now the same $2 gives me odds of 1 in 3.8 million. Lol at the CO Lottery for spinning it as an improvement. And the odds of winning any prize went from 2 in 35 for a $2 bet to 2 in 60 for a $2 bet. But hey! The odds are better if you ignore the cost of the odds. In Kentucky Keno 1X is a multiplier. 1x is a multiplier everywhere they have math. So is 0.5, but don't tell anyone who wo

With book buying, you're more likely to lose out long-term unless you hit something big. I've probably played through 200 books in the past 2 years. I'd say 10 to 15 of those 200 books were profitable... Most Gold Rush books will be $345/$600, assuming 1 $100 winner. A minimum payout book is going to return $245/$600. Roughly 1 in every 6 books has a $500 winner, so even then the expected turnout for that will be $745-$845/$600 (with the higher return if there's a $100 winner). This is o

New Mega Millions Game
The fact is since PB increased the odds and the price it regularly grows faster and higher than MM. And it's been proven that the higher the jackpot, the more tickets that sell. When the jackpot is low, ticket sales are low. Look how long it takes MM to grow. I'm not trying to defend what they're doing, but it is what they have to do to keep the games solvent. I really think at some point in the future they just need to combine the games into one, and have 3 draws a week. Start the jackpot at

Roll 369k on GRD is super old, considering Publix rolls are in the 550k-600k range now. If I discover a book is old, I try to only buy 1 ticket from there and leave. The $1M prizes found seem caught up to the current book numbers, so the chances of finding a jackpot in one of those old books is slim to none since the one(s) in that range have already been accounted for. The $100k prize is so incredibly rare on the $20 Gold Rush Doubler with odds at 1 in 2.5m that hunting for that in any range wo

Do you believe every combination has the same probability?
Casino odds offer much better favor than lottery odds. The reason they do this though is because it's much faster paced than the lottery. So players fall victim to tempting thoughts etc. In the end the Casino's end up on top. Which is why they don't care about the odds I would think. Someone who buys a lottery ticket waits hours or days before the results are in. The lottery is just not gonna give away money that easily and that quickly IMO Yup. The main difference is the variety of games

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Odds on the new tickets look pretty bad. $2 Silver looks ok for $2 I guess. $5 Gold I have to try cause I'm Gold lol. Odds don't look that great, but better than a lot of $5s. $20 Platinum looks bad man. I like whats in each roll, but it shouldn't be 1 in 1,714 to win $500. Its a $20 ticket the odds should be 1 in 500 ish to win $500. I like the odds to win $2500 though. Thats fairly good I think. Wait a minute they just copied and pasted the odds from the Super 7s what the
