Help with Odds Math - Excel maybe?
I understand what you're saying and the type of table you're describing. It's different from what Druski is describing and more difficult to compute, but is very useful.
His table is much simpler, and the odds in the table are indeed given by the formula he worked out, but a person cannot buy tickets that way so the table has no practical use. You cannot go to the gas station and tell the clerk you want to buy 24 numbers for 6/49 so that you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning the 3/6 prize, as s

Has anyone won with quick picks?
Yea.., I noticed that, there's the remaining 30% of Jackots that are by deduction, won by players that put a little thought into their process of picking their own numbers ...
Yep, like with pick-3 games the lottery keep around 50% of sale. It means some players are winning half the sales. I always thought the PB response was tongue-in-cheek way of saying if 70% of the sales are QPs, 70% of the winning tickets should be QPs. The last three MM sales were higher than on any drawing in 2020, b

Once again Mr. GiveFive I am honored with the title and naming of my simple system .It gets me pretty excited actually .I told my wife that story the other day and she said we're all bunch of crazy old men with nothing better to do ! I said whatever gets us through the day.
Anyway last night was a perfect example of a great losing night. Anytime you use the term 50% of the time that's an incredible uptick in the odds in your favor and that's what you're doing with the system .The nights it's

Name ONE Lottery Game you have sworn off for life... :/
To answer the question, I'm trying to swear off the Holiday Raffle. I've had tickets all 13 years it's been going. The first several years I'd buy 15 or more at ten bucks each. This year I was down to 5, so I've probably spent over a thousand dollars on it, and I've never won a penny from it, and it's starting to make me mad.
I wasn't supposed to buy any this year, but then I was reminded of the odds of 1:250,000 of winning a million bucks and decided to buy just one. Then ended up with 5.
