Nebraska Lottery warns players about misprinted Lucky for Life tickets
Good that they got the word out so that people dont possibly toss winning tickets.
Strange that it happened though.
Use to play Lucky for Life in MN (WI does not have) but I stopped after awhile - I think I only won my ticket money back a few times.
Sadly if you take the cash option I don't think its that much of a jackpot (compared to what the odds are and it being a $2 ticket) but I could be wrong.

PA Lottery
Ouch. I just checked the link. The ratio of $50 winners to $100 winners is like 4.3 to 1.
Washington state has this same game. 10 to 1 odds ratio of $50 to $100 is 1.5 to 1.
Yes I agree this game sucks unless you just have $10 and feel an itch to take a chance.

What are the odds of there being a mega millions winner tonight?
You know WhoaMama, it's actually not a trivial question. The probability depends on the number of distinct combos that are purchased before the drawing, which is something only the people who operate MM know for sure.
If everyone selected their numbers randomly (which not everyone does) then you could estimate it using some reasonable assumptions about random processes. But we know many people are going to play 1-2-3-4-5+6 for tonight s drawing. And many more are going to only play numbers be

I have been winning very big on scratchers for a year. I have a question
Yeah man thank you and you're right the other $30 paytable in our state is impossible to beat long term unless you hit one of the 2 top prizesm Odds almost a million to 1 on a $30 ticket.
I expected everybody would be chasing the $500 , but pretty much no one realized it. Or maybe some people just don't want to chance losing $200 because yes there were 12-15 times the $500 winner was the dead last ticket and that's a $200 loss. I always just shook it off because long run its a huge +EV game u

This has never happened to me before. Today after I purchased my tickets and other items my total was $57.50!!!Just the way I played that number.
What are the odds that number would play today? I know a lot of people play receipt numbers but the total? Wow!!
I didn't even noticed it until I got home and saw the winning numbers!!

I have been winning very big on scratchers for a year. I have a question
Hi spencerjames, that's a very interesting game! I can see where someone in a position to monitor ticket sales and results on any given book might be able to make informed ticket purchases after seeing a certain number of duds pass. Here in FL $30 tickets come in books of 30 tickets, and given the posted odds on that game 1599 it looks like on average for every 30 tickets there's two $100 wins and one $500 win, or about a 78% overall return.
Does WA state lotto have minimum $ return per book

So if someone asked me the odds of getting 11/11, is my answer.... 1:352,716?
If not, why does the email even mention it? Sorry man, its confusing. Is the email lying OR misinformed?
