I was in Reno during the U.S. Open in 1995 and Corey Pavin was 14-1 to win the tourney at the start of the 4th round on Sunday. Pavin was 2 strokes back and in 6th place at the turn and still 2 strokes behind Greg Norman after the 11th hole. I agree with there being no prospect of a life changing sum. The people who play this game are looking to gamble with $10 and multiply it fast (usually buying 1-2). The 1/1,000 odds of winning $500 is still kind of meh , but including it offers some excitement. Hitting that could be a car payment, or food for a month for some people. Buying into a roll of this game is almost guaranteeing going negative though, based on how it is designed. I think this will be one of FL Lottery's

I think it's a good idea to discourage the newcomers. Those that think.....Hmmm, I'll just buy a lottery ticket and strike it rich! The veteran players are well aware of the slim-to-none odds, but most keep playing anyway. We know that someone is going to win eventually, so why can't it be me? One day, I hope to be hit by lottery lightning while being attacked by a shark while on dry land!

Missed the p3...it was a repeat of last night no...we had 165 today 561 last night! But I got these wins one with the bad odds card and the other one...so $70! Got my p3 money I wasted back plus some!...funny thing is I bought 2 of each...and the first one won on both of them so should have just bought one of each but who knew the first one would win! Happy anyway for the $70!
