Hi RL, A new kind of analysis (requiring fewer choices) would benefit NG Slider, but as you mentioned before, hitting the top prize basically amounts to hitting a pick-3 straight and a pick-4 straight at the same time--which sounds daunting to me, but I think the odds might be better than winning a pick-5 (I could be wrong though since I haven't done the calculations), so some expert daily game players might be able to do it. I haven't had much time to really get into daily games or Slider

@KY Floyd My point is the quick picks are advantageous to the lotteries and disadvantageous to the players. We differ in the scale of advantage/disadvantage. I can take an extreme example that many people in USA and Down Under remember. One American lotto game reached a jackpot far larger than total combos in the game. I agree with you aguar...one Christmas I bought a whole roll and paid $300 for it and won exactly half...$150. I have never bought a whole roll since then. Yeah, in all seriousness it is randomized. I know that big winners pop up in Miami and other areas that have high ticket purchases mostly because those areas shuffle through more books at a faster rate. I don't believe in systems, but I do think reading book numbers is important. If you know there's 10 top prizes, 10 pools, and a top prize is supposed to be roughly every 50,000 books then you can usually assume if the first prize is found within the first 50,000 books that the next one w

You track obvious patterns and other number behaviors. If last night's winning p-3 number was 123, the odds that same set will show straight the very next draw has the same possibility of showing as any other 3-digit combo. BUT!!!...It's HIGHLY improbable! Once you create a crude profile, half the job is done.
