Auditor general finds no fault with Pa. Lottery, but unusual wins remain unexplained
Nadine's winnings occurred between April 2004 and December 2016. That is a total of 153 months. She had 209 wins. You're talking on average, 1.3 wins a month over 12 years. I love how these statisticians always claim the odds are so steep, people would have to spend millions of dollars in order to win so often. That may be true if you're only buying quick picks. But serious players study the games they play, and know their states well enough to know how to take advantage at certain times.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Well, those 100k prizes can pop anywhere. There should be 5 for every $10M prize, roughly. Who knows where those are. I did the math, and the if the odds are 1 in 5,040,000 for each $10M prize, we should expect to see it hit every 168,000 books on average. I think the first one was found in the 120k-130k range, so a tad bit earlier than expected (we don't know how many book numbers were skipped either). I'm thinking the 300k range is where we'll see the next prize hit. Who knows

Any reason why this forum is shrinking?
I don't think that's the reason, he began posting last year and was here for a few months. There are two main reasons. The biggest reason is how the odds on winning on instant scratch off tickets have tremendously deteriorated over the past couple of years. Many people aren't buying them as much as they had in the past. Also, new posters would create threads and hardly anyone would post on them, so I think some may have tired and moved on. In order for this forum to thrive, new posters hav

How long have you guys played the lottery?
If that person played 2 times a week for 30 years. Let's say that person game of choice was 6/49 classic lotto game and they had 104 plays a year times 30 years or 3120 chances to correctly match one combo out of almost 14 million combinations. They probably would of won the jackpot. Based on the odds, not even close; the only had a 5.7% chance of matching 5 numbers. But they probably would match 3 numbers 55 times and 4 numbers 3 times. Do you expect to win a jackpot playing twice

My same exact thoughts. Perhaps if the 20k, and 100k prize tiers have good odds it may be worth buying. I don't understand how I can't hit $500 on the 600M Gold Rush, with how many of those I've went through. Books are up to 2.18m range. I can't even find a gold nugget on that game. I'm seeing the 10k/WK for life up in the 301k range here in Gainesville. I can't even hit break evens on that game though, so I'm staying away.

Any reason why this forum is shrinking?
Instant scratch off tickets are more popular than ever. Over 50% of all sales for many lotteries. For PA, it's approaching 70% Similar for Arizona annual lottery sales . . scratchers 70%, Powerball MegaMillions 20%, everything else 10%. Just very little media hype . . like when the draw games annuitized jackpots reach $300 million for a $2 play . . as compared to $3.5 million for a $30 scratcher, but MUCH better odds!

How to Define Patterns for a Lottery?
the problem are the positions in a 60/6 lottery we have 12 positions (initial digit with end) Hello, dr san. With due respect, I agree with others here in that you're putting way too much thought into this. I mean, you're only dealing with numbers which are confined to a specific range and are subject to the same principles as any other large draw game although Brasil's actual draw process is very interesting. Truth be known, the real problem is with our new Mega Millions matrix which has inc

Been stalking this thread for awhile now, figured I would finally post something. I have been playing the 10k/ wk for life since it launched. I think it currently has best odds if your paying attention to the book range you get. I have gotten a $5k win, two $500, and atleast 20 $100 wins, tons of the smaller, but I recycle my funds(except big wins) back in to tickets so I have played a lot of tickets. I can tell you from looking at the instant liability report and just gut feeling there is big p
