fl scratch offs
I don't buy rolls usually I'll get 4 or 5 from different rolls with different book numbers. If I don't get a $500 winner in a roll I lose - say the book is $600 - the rule is you can expect about a 40 % return unless you hit that 500 or a bigger one. I looked at the instant liability report on $25 and $20's ...... I was surprised to see Gold Rush $20 ticket (was yellow now tan) was about 92% sold ..... means fewer left ......it had a bunch of 500 and 1000 tickets still out there, also a lot o

Pennsylvania expands gambling to pay for budget
I use self-service terminals all the time, and love it. Sure, they'll be some glitches with on-line, but likely nothing that can't be worked through. As for your MM JTJ purchase, if it wasn't too many tickets, consider playing the same numbers again just in case. Sure the odds of winning anything sizable is slim, but Match-5 is 48X more likely than jackpot. Even if that doesn't come up, maybe a decent lower tier will. Most likely leaving it be will work out fine, since even matching 3 numbers

Virginia Lottery wasn't quite ready for Mega Millions game changes
All in all, it appears Virginia Lottery is handling the issue extremely well. Willing to honor any prizes won, plus refunding. Not sure what more they could do. However, it seems a bad omen in regards to Just the Jackpot option. It's as if the glitch is a warning. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing, but my hunch is there will some disappointed players in the near future. I sincerely hope lotteries rethink Just the Jackpot or are willing to honor Match-5 too for goodwill. Wishful thinking, but h

What "sacrifices" have you made to play the lottery?
I have been playing in coming up on 5 decades now and I have spent lots of money during that time. Not only have I never had a winner that I have had to file a claim on but they keep making the games harder to win. There are too many games with too few winners of decent prizes on top of the odds getting worse. Maybe your question should be either What 'sacrifices' will you stop making now? or maybe what 'sacrifices' will you continue to make?

I'm sure of a box repeat tonight, however these are the only ones that match what I'm trying to do; 685 276 889 249 It doesn't look right to me. I might box em 50 cent. I would have like to see all odds in the box repeat list 834

Canadian man wins $400,000 playing 40 identical Washington Lottery tickets
Amazed the professor would say that. Maybe he thought it was a typical jackpot game in which the prize splits. As for the odds, 1 in 10,600 is correct. It's not a typical Pick-4 game, but is a choose 4 out of 24 game. Appears to have an overall payback of 65%. That's very good for a $2 lottery numbers game. Wish PA Lottery had this game. Many of the larger lotteries (PA, FL, NY, etc) regularly payout large amounts to Pick-3 and Pick 4 players who wager like this person did. It's common in win

Canadian man wins $400,000 playing 40 identical Washington Lottery tickets
My FB response didn't cross over so here's my humble opinion. 'I don't understand why you would do that' says Christian Hansen, a mathematician and probably a statistician too. Well I do, though I've never won the big won, when you get a certain feeling for the lottery sometimes your gut feeling pays off. I just cringe when lotteries get super high and these 'experts' in their field give out crazy astronomical odds as to why someone won't win the lottery. Yet they do, and they crawl ba

The halloween numbers are 258 843 965 236 831 527 745 055 430 774 969 776 601 96x 77x 60x These were posted on 10/17/17 and so far 2 has hit. After the 403 last night I played the 527 only because Long Odds said sum 13 and 14 are underplayed. I caught it box. Congrats to the winners. I guess we should keep our eye on the remaining numbers.

Missouri Pick 4 Quick Picks
lol, I don't play scratch-offs either. I hate the feeling of the instant lose. I like to agonize about it all day. lol with me it is more about beating the system than the money. Oh don't get me wrong the money is the ultimate goal, but I really do enjoy the game of trying to beat the odds with a selection of numbers that I CHOOSE. The same reason I don't do quick-picks.. You just have to be the lucky person that bought it at the right time off the right stack. It is all predetermined for you
