Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
@ brock - congrats on the $500 win. You seem to have pretty good luck on the FL scratch-offs. The $5k Monopoly win was very impressive too. @bke - $115 is the minimum payout on the new $5 ticket Full of $500s. Basically you didn't get any prize above the one mandatory $20 payout and the one mandatory $15 payout. On a side note, I bought a $25 WCC, a GRD and 3 of the $5 ticket and got these two decent wins. The $100 win on the $5 ticket is nice but it's also frustrating because I had bette

How to simulate a distribution and use the lottery's own randomness against itself.
Mega Millions is changing Oct. 31 to $2.00 a play and reswizzling the matrix and payouts. We can not play because we think the payouts don't reflect the probability of win (lottery odds) and cost of playing. If really, really wanted to play, the Jackpot would have to be some $3 Billion + for us to even consider playing. It's not worth it anymore; let everyone else jackup the jackpot; we can just sit back; wait and watch.

DO YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY $$ hoping to win a JACKPOT?
I enjoy your sentiment Realtorjim. It is the opportunity , and a Real ONE at that! Everyday that I awaken, I have beaten the odds....to see another day. Its a 50/50 chance to win or lose. It is really that simple and not much else.

DO YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY $$ hoping to win a JACKPOT?
I agree about the jackpot size hype especially considering the odds against winning the jackpot are exactly the same as they were in the last 29 MM drawings when nobody hit the jackpot. But jackpots are approaching levels where lots more tickets will be sold and more likely the jackpot will be hit. There were no PB winners in the last 17 drawings so if those who play hoping to win a jackpot there was no chance in the last 29 MM drawings and 17 PB drawings. IMO if people play hoping to win the

DO YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY $$ hoping to win a JACKPOT?
Call me crazy if you want to, but I never pay an ounce of attention to the advertised jackpots. I rarely play MM or PB, but when I do I add The Megaplier and The PowerPlay. That's because I'm more excited about winning lower tier prizes than I am the jackpot. BTW all the hype about both big games jackpots totalling about 750 million dollars is just that - hype. Does anybody really believe they'll win BOTH jackpots? I saw a TV news report about that very thing. The reporter said We did the mat

DO YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY $$ hoping to win a JACKPOT?
Ricklou, Talk about long odds, when MM changes in Oct, it will be 302 million to one. Every person over 18 in the US could buy a ticket and there will still be 40 million combos left over.
