Those "raffle" lottery games
PA's is set to sell out by Saturday. Some of my co workers bought 20 tickets for this raffle! THey figured as a group they have a better chance. I told them the odds are the same for them as it is for a single holder. They didnt appreciate that remark, yet odds dont change. your chance remains 1 in 125,000 to hit. I personally dont like splitting with such a large amount of holders. Call it greed, I call it taking the high road to riches. : )

Those "raffle" lottery games
No thanks here also.
$20 is just too steep for a lottery ticket.
The way the Illinois raffle is set up it comes down to 509 winners out of 500,000 tickets.
Four million dollar winners, 5 $100,000 winners, and 500 $1,000 winners.
So;
500,000 tickets
- 509 winners

= 499,491 losers.
Gee, which side of that equation do you think your $20 will put you on?
I did have a ticket for the first Illinois raffle, and when the winners list came out

New Florida Raffle
Yes the odds are very much better..I remember the last raffle Florida had...it was a great success. I made one mistake on that one , i bought all my tickets at the same time: the numbers are selected ramdomly so that one winning ticket number may appear at the head of the list and one at the end...etc...
Do yourself a favor and further spread your chances by buying you tickets over a week or two time...so that you are not locked into one specific slot of numbers.... I'd much rather be playin

Is there a safe "Practice" Slot machine on the web?
When I am board, I play here for fun. You can even trade you point to be put in a raffle for real money. I won $100 several years ago but have not played much lately. Have fun!
Oh, I can seem to post the link! but it is freeslot.com-SimSlots Free Slot machines.

Expensive Michigan Lottery tickets sell-out quickly
Funny thing about this raffle - they did not spend one cent on advertising on TV OR Radio - it was word of mouth and internet advertising that got the word out, on top of all the Club Keno retailer monitors advetrtising it.
I realize that some people will spend anything on a chance to make themselves wealthy - I just see it as I, personally, would not spend that much money for such a small top prize. If the prize was larger, say $5M, I might go for it, but $20 seems enough for me.
