I used to win more
I used to play more (in higher concentration, like $500 in a day). Now it's more spread out over the month, maybe like $100/week. It feels like I used to win much more playing $500 in a day compared to playing $15/day or $100 once per week. I think I'm forgetting the times I lost that $500, in a couple hours sometimes, and how upsetting that can be rather than pacing yourself. But it feels like even a hundred bucks sometimes isn't enough to overcome the odds. That's kind of staggering.

Lawsuit accuses Illinois Lottery manager of fraud in instant games
The lawsuit did not detail how Northstar knew that the profitability of the games had been statistically maximized. I'll tell you how...they are math and statistic experts. It's pretty obvious they increased the number of tickets, which immediately reduces odds of winning, then held back the Jackpot prizes until the end when everyone lost interest in the game, sales dropped and that gave them the excuse to end the game prematurely. Voila. Millions saved after millions raked in on worthless ti

Do statistical trends exist?
Nature operates on ordered laws of energy and specific sequences of probability. There is no randomness, ostensible or otherwise, involved. Wall Street is driven by human emotion and behavior. It's easier to predict human behavior than it is to tell what your child's eye color will be. Human nature and natural nature are predictable, trendable and exploitable. They should never be used in any debate comparing them to a computer program whose sole function is to be as random as possible within

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Jackpotchasing - I think your posts are very encouraging to others playing these games, and the insight you provide to people on these forums is very valuable. You deserve to hit it big one the $20 Flamingo, I'm rooting for you! I think my biggest win on $20 Flamingo was only $150, I agree with Gators that those $150+ prizes on $20 Flamingo can be scarce. Then again, the game seems to be paying out far better than other $20 games when it comes to big prizes. The Gold Rush tickets tease

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
Did you not see my response yesterday about Tx 2 Step??? It was 1.45 million dollars. I got hit in Killeen last night, so it's back to 200,000. Much better odds at 1 in 1,832,600. Still a bugger to win.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I went through 2.5 rolls of SM with nothing above $100 today. I agree that the high number of $1,000 prizes claimed for SM is out of place given the odds and rolls sold. But there are a few explanations as well: some people may have waited until the new year to claim the prize even if they won late last year to avoid paying taxes on the winnings for 2016; also, there is the possibility of a few super rolls like you encountered with a $100k and a $1k win; finally, we have seen that many stores se

How to pick games
Chris$ - you're correct. Almost every state pulls games. It's the nature of the business for some states, pulling games is a KEY way that they increase the profitability of their business. I see it in PA every week and my local retailer is annoyed with me always asking for the best games - they simply say 'that games closed'. In reality it means - he doesn't have that game for sale anymore. It doesn't mean someone else in PA doesn't still have that game for sale. And yes - more than likely, the
