Straight Front/ Back/ and Split Pairs
What would you consider a maximum skip for 1 of these pairs? Is there a way to figure out the odds combining all 3 or 1 by itself. I know WinD said a combo was ripe when it was 6 times due(6000 draws). When does a straight pair become ripe?

It would be no different than if the prizes for pick 3 were occasionally bumped up to $1500. If a regular pick3 game top prize was bumped up to $1500, it would be a lot different because those tickets usually sell for $1 with odds of 1:1000 to win $500. Offering $1500 instead would be like allowing players with $1000 to exchange it for $1500. Sales of tickets wouldn't last even a minute. Besides a state would go broke with such an offer. I play Illinois Lotto (6/52 game) and Lucky Day Lotto (5/45) every draw no matter what jackpot is I play Mega or PB once jackpot crosses $150M or so Its hard to justify spending $$$ on Mega/Powerball every draw given the bleak odds. Its especially hard to justify playing Powerball at $2 a line

Wow you've given me so much to think about, thanks for such detail! I'll def find what works for me, so far, I know that grocery stores are a no go...maybe they have a lot of scratchs off that just sit, I'm not sure at all. I haven't had much luck on the $20, more so on the $5 and $10...2 months back at random I won $75 on a $2, that was super cool, especially since I borrowed it from a friend in the store lol. I'll take notes and be aware of what works or seems to work and build from there.

I guess I tend to think of the pairs as pointers. Otherwise, I am making a decision on one or two digits from a combo versus a solid direction. Yes, I know all about random and odds . I think this brings probability closer in play. I'm sure there are persons who can successfully pick the right one from three digits, but can they do it consistently?
